The Programme Co-ordinator for the Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative aspects of the OSH degree programme. This includes curriculum development, student advising, accreditation compliance, and collaboration with faculty and industry partners to ensure programme excellence.

• Academic Programme Management
• Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the OSH degree curriculum
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards (IOSH and JKKP or relevant local bodies)
• Coordinate course scheduling, faculty assignments, and teaching resources
• Monitor student progress, retention, and graduation rates, implementing interventions as needed
• Student Support & Advising
• Serve as the primary academic advisor for OSH students, guiding them on course selection, career pathways, and certifications.
• Address student concerns, academic grievances, and provide mentorship
• Organise orientation sessions, workshops, and career development programs for OSH students.
• Faculty & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with faculty to enhance teaching methodologies and programme outcomes
• Liaise with industry professionals, and accreditation bodies to align the programme with workforce needs
• Facilitate partnerships with organisations for internships, research, and employment opportunities
• Administrative & Compliance Duties
• Prepare reports for institutional and external accreditation reviews
• Manage programme budgets, resources, and grant applications (if applicable)
• Ensure adherence to institutional policies and regulatory requirements in OSH education
• Programme Promotion and Outreach
• Represent the OSH programme at recruitment events, conferences, and industry meetings.
• Develop marketing materials and engage in student recruitment strategies
• Promote research initiatives and encourage student participation in OSH related projects

A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in the relevant field; AND

• A minimum of five years of relevant academic and research experience; OR;
• A minimum of five years of relevant industrial experience.

Peninsula Precision Stamping (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented ISO, Health & Safety Officer to join our team in Gelang Patah, Johor. This is a full-time role that will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the company's ISO and health and safety management systems.

Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) regulations and ISO ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standard.

Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and internal audits.

Lead and coordinate ISO documentation, audits, and certification processes.

Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Provide safety and ISO training to employees (induction, machine safety, PPE, emergency response).

Monitor and maintain records for safety, health, and ISO activities (checklists, reports, incident logs).

Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g., DOSH, DOE) and assist during inspections or audits.

Develop and update safety policies, SOPs, and emergency plans.

Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related field.

Registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH (Malaysia).

At least 2 years of working experience in manufacturing, preferably metal stamping.

Strong knowledge of ISO systems and local health & safety regulations.

Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Assist in maintaining HACCP and ISO Certification for F&B Operations and Management through implementation of Food and Safety Management System (FSMS).
• Conduct microbiology test in the Food Safety Laboratory for food and environmental samples. Coordinate sending selected samples to external laboratory for chemical/biology laboratory test.
