Day-to-Day Operations:
  • Guide team members in resolving operational issues; act as initial escalation point
  • Identify root causes, define, and implement corrective actions to prevent/address issues
  • Monitor and analyze carrier and supplier compliance and performance using dashboards and reports; follow up with stakeholders
  • Attend customer meetings on operational topics; contribute to team meetings, reviews, and quarterly business reviews
  • Support onboarding of suppliers to ensure SOP compliance
  • Monitor KPIs, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and discuss suggestions with Operations Management
  • Contribute to process or policy improvements in collaboration with other functions
  • Manage tasks assigned by Operations Managers
  • Manage General Motors SSCP (Supplier Shipment Confirmation Portal)
  • Assist in billing, KPI reporting, and review preparations
  • Manage internal forwarder bookings
  • Support data collection and analysis for stakeholders
  • Ensure quality metrics such as on-time performance, data accuracy, and invoicing timeliness
  • Support internal and external optimization projects
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Leads the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and responsible for the lines success.
  • Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality.
  • Lead a team of individual professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze operational problems and advise on their resolution. Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding and capability.
  • Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and collaborates with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.
  • Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.
  • May act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function.
  • Engage in training and coaching of junior operators.
  • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements.
  • Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
  • Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing individuals on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance to manufacturing standards.

  • Typically requires 5 years of materials experience, with advanced experience using (MRP) systems or related field.

Graymont operates multiple Remote Operations Centers (ROCs) strategically positioned to support Global Operations. As a member of our team based in Petaling Jaya, you will lead and contribute directly to Graymont's corporate objective of advancing centralized operations.

In addition to overseeing day-to-day decisions related to employee management, the Remote Operations Supervisor will lead future recruitment, training, and development initiatives. The role also involves fostering team building and effective collaboration across various functions, including close coordination with supporting stakeholder groups like Operations, Process Engineering, and Information Services. This opportunity invites you to join us at the forefront of innovation in the lime industry, contributing to the ongoing excellence of Graymont's remote operations program and our commitment to a sustainable future through advanced process automation.

Key focus areas the role will include:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Remote Operations Engineers in ensuring safe and continuous operation, product quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Collaborate globally with plant-based personnel and Remote Operations Engineers across different ROCs to optimize operational processes, drive continuous improvement and scaling up of the program.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence, in terms of consistency in operational practices across all Graymont ROCs, aiming for seamless coordination and eliminating distinctions in operational approaches, ensuring standardized and efficient global operations.
  • Oversee the monitoring and control of plant production equipment, making necessary recommendations to meet operational and quality requirements.
  • Maintain shift operation records, facilitate information exchange between ROCs and communicate effectively with onsite operations personnel, maintenance technicians, supervisors, and process engineers.
  • Monitor and analyze various process trends, apply knowledge to drive process efficiencies, and actively contribute to special projects aimed at improving the remote operations program.
  • Work collaboratively with Graymont’s Technical Services Group and plants to expand and enhance the automation strategy.
  • Assist in the defining and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for operating processes remotely.
  • Evaluate performance and conduct performance appraisals for direct reports.
  • Review new hire applications, interview, and select new team members in collaboration with regional leadership.
  • Identify, develop, continuously improve, and communicate best available process practices within Graymont.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education with an Engineering degree or technical certification (experience demonstrating an advanced process control background will be considered).
  • 2+ years of industrial experience in a manufacturing or processing environment, with a focus on Process Control Systems and/or industrial automation
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement innovative solutions in a timely manner.
  • Self-directed and highly motivated requiring minimal direct guidance.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft programs. Background in Electrical, PLC programming, instrumentation, automation, and HMI controls is a strong asset.
  • Flexible with working hours and willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written is required; additional languages are a plus.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven E-commerce Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day online business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Unicommerce, Shopify, and EasyRoutes, ensuring smooth order management, fulfillment, logistics coordination, and customer experience. You will be responsible for supervising the operations team, streamlining workflows, and driving operational efficiency across multiple e-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities

Order & Inventory Management

  • Oversee end-to-end order processing using Unicommerce OMS and ensure timely order dispatch.
  • Manage inventory synchronization across multiple sales channels (Shopify, marketplaces, etc.).
  • Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishments, and minimize stock-outs or overselling.

Platform & Tools Expertise

  • Ensure smooth functioning of Shopify storefront including product uploads, pricing updates, discount campaigns, and catalog management.
  • Leverage EasyRoutes for effective last-mile delivery tracking, scheduling, and exception handling.
  • Integrate and troubleshoot technical issues between platforms to maintain uninterrupted operations.

Team Supervision & Process Management

  • Lead and supervise the operations support team handling order fulfillment, returns, and customer escalations.
  • Develop and implement SOPs to streamline e-commerce workflows.
  • Monitor KPIs such as fulfillment rate, delivery TAT, order accuracy, and return ratios.

Logistics & Vendor Coordination

  • Work closely with courier partners and 3PL vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Handle escalations with logistics partners and resolve shipment/delivery issues promptly.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on orders, returns, cancellations, and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
  • Track performance metrics and present insights to management for decision-making.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience (3 years) in e-commerce operations with hands-on expertise in Unicommerce, Shopify, and EasyRoutes .
  • Strong understanding of order management systems (OMS), inventory management, and multi-channel sales operations.
  • Knowledge of logistics workflows, shipping integrations, and last-mile delivery processes.
  • Team management and leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with marketplace integrations (Amazon, Lazada, Shopee, etc.).
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for reporting and analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of API integrations, webhooks, or e-commerce app ecosystems.

Keep Things Sparkling

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front area.
  • Regularly sanitize counters, self-service stations, and guest areas.

Be a Team Player

  • Support your teammates whether it's restocking, jumping on cashier, or helping prep.
  • Work together to keep service flowing smoothly, especially during rush hours.

Job Description
  • Works with company-wide cross functional teams to provide timely and accurate forecasts to executive teams on Booking/Shipment/Revenue
    • Need to be able to quickly come up to speed on company products and leverage that learning to manage forecasts
    • Develop/maintain close relationship with overseas Sales and Regional Business Operations team to achieve the desired forecast objectives; align with their input as well as provide directions back to the team to achieve company goals on a regular basis
    • Work closely with Sales/Finance/Business Development team to review and monitor commercial deals execution to ensure compliance and uphold company's business objectives
    • Support Sales, BD, and R&D team’s effort in new business opportunities, and understand its potential impact to near-term & long-term business forecast
  • Manage configuration, non-standard requests, shipments lotting, and shipment delivery
    • Collaborate with overseas Account team and Order Fulfillment team to understand customer’s specifications and configuration needs
    • Lead shipment configuration reviews with Manufacturing teams (based in both US and overseas) and Product Groups (based both in US and overseas) and provide timely and accurate configuration content to Supply Chain & Manufacturing team and achieve on-time tool delivery
    • Review and process customers purchase orders; ensure PO compliance to established commercial and legal terms for all shipments
    • Communicate with account teams on committed ship dates, and manage any ship date miss and recovery
    • Coordinate with manufacturing and shipping & logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery
    • Respond to any post-delivery issues, drive mitigation plan and root cause analysis by leading cross-functional alignment
  • Assist Corporate Business Development and Account Teams in preparing & hosting customer meetings to improve business outcomes
Who We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 6 years working in technology industry
  • Korean language proficiency preferred
  • Adaptable, flexible, open for new ways of doing things
  • Good communication skills, bias to action, results driven
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a cross-functional environment, lead and influence others for solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Operations or business background in semiconductor industry
  • Knowledge of CRM/SAP, Microsoft Office Applications
