Job Purpose:
The Business Development Executive will focus on expanding market opportunities, increasing sales, and strengthening client relationships within the plastics trading sector. Responsibilities include identifying potential customers, forming strategic partnerships, and promoting solutions that meet client needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in plastics and chemicals trading.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new accounts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient supply chain and order fulfillment.
- Monitor pricing trends, customer demands, and industry regulations to optimize strategies.
- Represent Toling Corporation at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing after-sales support.
- Track sales performance and gather market feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or trading, preferably in plastics or chemicals.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of plastics trading, market trends, and supply chain operations is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to develop long-term partnerships and expand client portfolios.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
- Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is preferred for interactions with suppliers and clients.
