  • Lead the engagement for project-related tasks; work with various internal functions and vendors/partners to deliver the service according to committed specifications and time.
  • Accountable for the successful delivery of the assigned project within time, quality, and cost; based on sound project management methodology whilst adhering to client Project Model and other relevant client compliances.
  • Support the preparation of RFQ/RFP and other special projects and obtain approval from the Investment Committee.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Project Team Members.
  • Establish and introduce project management and methodology best practices.
  • Manage and lead projects to ensure all milestones are met within time, quality standards, resources, and budget constraints.
  • Manage expectations and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders, steering committee, project team, vendors, and third parties.
  • Plan, review, and negotiate project schedules with the product owner.
  • Coordinate and obtain inter-department support on planned tasks.
  • Act as liaison between the entire project team (users and vendors) to ensure alignment.
  • Review and negotiate contracts thoroughly, safeguarding the client's interests.
  • Escalate potential risks or blocking issues with proposed mitigation plans or recommendations.
  • Proactively manage deviations, risks, and inter-dependencies impacting the project.
  • Serve as gatekeeper for all entry and exit criteria for the next project phase.
  • Provide weekly project updates following Project Governance processes.
  • Participate in Project Governance Working Team meetings as necessary.
  • Produce documentation in compliance with Project Governance standards and ensure proper filing and sign-off.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, comprehensive, and stored appropriately.
  • Optimize investment, solutions, and resources.
  • Manage project resources, motivate team members, and foster skill development.
  • Ensure smooth post-implementation handover to Operations.
  • Conduct proper project close-out, including lessons learned and performance reviews.
  • Have knowledge and experience in IP core/MPLS domain network expansion and services migration.
  • Lead discussions with Senior Management and drive desired outcomes.
  • Lead a team managing Zoom for client-wide use.
  • Facilitate vendor evaluation, selection, contract, and SLA negotiations.
  • Ensure all billings and internal chargebacks are updated.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for vendors and establish effective relationships.
  • Monitor and manage vendor delivery, ensuring adherence to statements of work, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Ensure high service standards before operationalization.
Vendor management
  • Facilitate vendor evaluation and selection processes.
  • Negotiate contracts and SLAs.
  • Ensure billings and chargebacks are up-to-date.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for vendors.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with vendors.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with client regulations.
  • Monitor vendor delivery against contracts, timelines, and quality standards with complete documentation.
  • Ensure high standards of service delivery before operationalization.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network project management, with at least 5 years in the network domain.
  • Decent technical knowledge in networking.

The primary responsibilities are to fully understand the Customer’s success criteria for a PoC, to work with the account team and Customer to document the relevant test cases for the PoC, stage the test topology and work through all obstacles to ensure the testing goes as smoothly as possible, executing the PoC either hosted at a HPE or Customer site. Document all test cases so that a full report can be delivered to the Customer and account team. The TC is expected to have expert knowledge of the products under test, the necessary test tools, applications, server infrastructure, routing and switching infrastructure, network management applications, industry vertical solutions, and client devices.

You will be responsible for management and logistics of the materials and to assist in the prioritization of and management of the testing activities.

In addition, you will be capable of running through any portion of the Aruba mobile first test plan, which will be developed in close coordination with Aruba subject matter experts and various stakeholders. The full breadth of Aruba’s products and features highlighting areas of differentiation will be included. As a TC, you will work to incorporate new competitive features and products into the kits, updating test plans were appropriate.

Knowledge transfer and training for field teams in multiple theatres will be required to disseminate knowledge and best practices. You will coordinate with sales leadership to arm the field with the same capabilities and enable them to run the tests in other locations. In the role, you will be responsible for meticulously documenting all test cases and assisting with Customer facing field test reports that can be handed to Customers following a successful testing activity.

Finally, you will be required to travel onsite to participate in and run testing activities as well as participate in discussions with field account teams and Customers to help position Aruba in the best possible way for competitive situations in which Aruba must showcase capabilities in the Customer’s environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute complex Proof of Concepts (PoC) as a vehicle to finalise the technical evaluation of Aruba products during the sales cycle.
  • Gather technical requirements from Customers and account teams.
  • Work with Customers and account teams to identify success metrics to quantitatively measure PoC success.
  • Create detailed and complex test plans.
  • Work closely with technical experts (PLM, Dev/R&D, QA, TME, etc.) to vet test plans.
  • Investigate and optimize a technical solution to meet or exceed the requirements of an opportunity, both current and future.
  • Identify the growth path and scalability options of a solution and include these in design activities.
  • Identify potential challenges for the proposed test plan.
  • Find ways and means to differentiate Aruba above any competition and create preference.
  • Optimize a solution to maximize Aruba competitive advantages.
  • Represent Aruba as a subject matter expert in networking and to Customers.
  • Actively support the account team with solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other Customer communications.
  • Transfer knowledge to presales peers via mentoring and playing leadership roles in peer education programs.
  • Become the Customer and account team’s technical advisor for networking consultative expertise.
  • Keep current with industry and competitive trends and able to converse with client on issues and challenges at multiple levels of Customer management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Industry experience - 5 years to 10 years Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Has deep and comprehensive understanding of networking technology and the ability to develop strong technical knowledge of company products.
  • Networking equipment evaluation experience.
  • Strong understanding of LAN and WLAN networking protocols and technologies, including switching, routing and security is required.
  • Well recognized industry certification beneficial, ACMX, CCIE/CWNP preferred.
  • Recognized expert in wireless technologies, 802.11 standards.
  • RF spectrum analysis, MIMO concepts.
  • Wireless security.
  • Experienced in networking technologies and protocols including but not limited to:
  • Switching: VLANs (802.1Q, VTP), DHCP, multicast, L2/L3, aggregation techniques, spanning tree (PVST+), LACP, etc.
  • Routing: OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRF, EIGRP, route policies
  • Security: 802.1x, NAC, radius, TACACS+, ACL’s, etc.
  • Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability in developing and delivering complex technical presentations.
  • Proficient in presenting in front of various-size sales team, C-level executives, Customer audiences and industry forums.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in design, development and implementation of technical papers and reports.
  • Experience driving projects in a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, parallel projects to deadline.
  • Extensive travel may be required.
  • Requires the ability and willingness to accommodate a minimum of 30% travel within the Asia Pacific & Japan region.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Aruba technologies.
  • Experience working for Aruba in a technical or related role.

The primary responsibilities are to fully understand the Customer’s success criteria for a PoC, to work with the account team and Customer to document the relevant test cases for the PoC, stage the test topology and work through all obstacles to ensure the testing goes as smoothly as possible, executing the PoC either hosted at a HPE or Customer site. Document all test cases so that a full report can be delivered to the Customer and account team. The TC is expected to have expert knowledge of the products under test, the necessary test tools, applications, server infrastructure, routing and switching infrastructure, network management applications, industry vertical solutions, and client devices.

You will be responsible for management and logistics of the materials and to assist in the prioritization of and management of the testing activities.

In addition, you will be capable of running through any portion of the Aruba mobile first test plan, which will be developed in close coordination with Aruba subject matter experts and various stakeholders. The full breadth of Aruba’s products and features highlighting areas of differentiation will be included. As a TC, you will work to incorporate new competitive features and products into the kits, updating test plans were appropriate.

Knowledge transfer and training for field teams in multiple theatres will be required to disseminate knowledge and best practices. You will coordinate with sales leadership to arm the field with the same capabilities and enable them to run the tests in other locations. In the role, you will be responsible for meticulously documenting all test cases and assisting with Customer facing field test reports that can be handed to Customers following a successful testing activity.

Finally, you will be required to travel onsite to participate in and run testing activities as well as participate in discussions with field account teams and Customers to help position Aruba in the best possible way for competitive situations in which Aruba must showcase capabilities in the Customer’s environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute complex Proof of Concepts (PoC) as a vehicle to finalise the technical evaluation of Aruba products during the sales cycle.
  • Gather technical requirements from Customers and account teams.
  • Work with Customers and account teams to identify success metrics to quantitatively measure PoC success.
  • Create detailed and complex test plans.
  • Work closely with technical experts (PLM, Dev/R&D, QA, TME, etc.) to vet test plans.
  • Investigate and optimize a technical solution to meet or exceed the requirements of an opportunity, both current and future.
  • Identify the growth path and scalability options of a solution and include these in design activities.
  • Identify potential challenges for the proposed test plan.
  • Find ways and means to differentiate Aruba above any competition and create preference.
  • Optimize a solution to maximize Aruba competitive advantages.
  • Represent Aruba as a subject matter expert in networking and to Customers.
  • Actively support the account team with solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other Customer communications.
  • Transfer knowledge to presales peers via mentoring and playing leadership roles in peer education programs.
  • Become the Customer and account team’s technical advisor for networking consultative expertise.
  • Keep current with industry and competitive trends and able to converse with client on issues and challenges at multiple levels of Customer management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Industry experience - 5 years to 10 years Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Summary:

Detailed Description:

  • Providing computers, networks, servers, IT & office equipment installation, configuration, management, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Plan, manage, revise and continuously improve IT infrastructure, network topology, cabling and interconnect (i.e. network switch/hub, Wireless Access Points, etc.).
  • Plan and maintain High Availability on IT infrastructure (uptime on systems, databases, network).
  • Monitor and propose improvement/upgrade for systems and network growth demands.
  • Ensure IT Systems and computers are secure and compliant with Corporate IT Security Policy.
  • Daily monitor the IT Service Request/ Incidents to ensure timely correction of any incidents.
  • Maintain a proactive approach in attending to user’s requests, identify and troubleshoot problems, enquiries, provide advice and follow up within a stipulated time to ensure smooth operation of the end user needs and system availability.
  • Prepare technical documentation, procedures and guidelines and update according to SOP.
  • Perform IT daily checklist to ensure server room tidiness and ensure all IT equipment are working fine.
  • Liaise with Global IT Team and vendors to ensure projects, services and tasks are implemented as per specification and timely manner.
  • To perform any other tasks or assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication (both oral and written) and documentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Networking (Firewall and switches), Windows OS (server and client) and the desktop operating environment. Linux and other mainstream OS knowledge will be helpful.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Previous work experience at manufacturing companies is encouraged to apply.
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure service management & diagnostic tools and processes.
  • Good knowledge of end-point security management tools and processes.

Physical Demands:

  • Duties of this position are performed in a production environment & non-office working hours are required.

This is a general selection process for all seniority levels, to join teams that focus on open source networking software at Canonical. Apply here if you are an outstanding software engineer, passionate about networking at any level - from the Linux kernel IP or eBPF and bridge constructs, to overlay SDN networking like OVS and OVN, to router, switch and radio access technologies such as SoNIC, FRR and DENT, all the way up to telco MANO and 5G Core solutions.

We work with networking silicon providers to optimise Ubuntu and related applications for their ASICs, boards and appliances. We aim to provide a complete open source stack for data centre networking, from bare metal through virt, container and serverless, and also to address IoT networking systematically.

If you have a passion for networking technologies, deep familiarity with Linux networking and awareness of open source community best practices, then you will enjoy our software-defined networking role at Canonical.   • Kubernetes Software Engineer

What your day will look like

  • Work with the most advanced operating systems and network application technologies available
  • Collaborate with public clouds and network silicon providers
  • Design and implement the best software-defined networking experience for the latest hardware platforms and software stacks
  • Write high-quality, well-designed and well-documented software
  • Contribute to shape innovative product strategies
  • Debug issues and produce high-quality code to fix them
  • Collaborate proactively with a globally distributed organisation
  • Contribute to technical documentation to make it the best of its kind
  • Display technical leadership internally, towards our partners, and in the open source communities
  • Influence open-source projects and communities
  • Shape software-define networking products for evolving data centre architectures to meet ever-increasing bandwidth, reliability, security, and interoperability demands
  • Work from home, with global travel twice a year for company events of up to two weeks duration

What we are looking for in you

  • An exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path
  • Drive and a track record of going above-and-beyond expectations
  • Knowledge of networking: architecture, design, and protocols
  • Deep understanding of Linux networking, from kernel to user space
  • Fluency in at least one of Golang, C/C++, Rust or Python
  • Professional written and spoken English
  • Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
  • Passion, thoughtfulness, and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments
  • Ability to travel twice a year, for company events up to two weeks each

Additional Skills That You Might Also Bring

  • Familiarity with existing open source networking technologies - kernel (including eBPF, AF_XDP), OVS, OVN, SoNIC, DENT, Switchdev, DPDK, SPDK, 5G 3GPP, ONF stack, iwd, NetworkManager, etc.
  • Familiarity with data path hardware acceleration protocols and interfaces, such as RDMA, RoCE, iWARP, NVMe, SR-IOV
  • Computer architecture knowledge of x86, ARM, and RISC-V
  • Experience in complex IP network engineering and implementation
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, e.g., QEMU, KVM, etc.
  • Previous contribution to open source projects and community involvement
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Cloud-native Network Functions, and Container Network Interface plugins
  • Performance engineering and security experience

Your day at NTT DATA
As a Principal Networking Technology Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you will take on a dynamic and pivotal role, engaging directly with clients and leveraging your expertise to identify new opportunities and present compelling value propositions. Your main focus will be on pursuing and landing qualified leads, developing new business channels, and expanding existing accounts. As a Sales Specialist, you are also responsible for generating your own pipeline and opportunities within your assigned client base.

You will be busy building and nurturing client relationships, acting as the internal owner for assigned accounts. You will become a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their most pressing business challenges and offering solutions that make a real impact. You will lead conversations at the C-level, positioning NTT DATA's offerings effectively to drive expansion and renewals.

Collaborating closely with internal teams, you will work with pre-sales architects to design the best solutions, ensuring our proposals are compelling and delivered on time. Your deep industry knowledge and DATA-driven insights will help you stay ahead of trends, allowing you to have meaningful conversations with clients and continually drive growth.

You will manage the entire sales process, from owning the sales cycle to structuring complex deals and negotiations. Your role will require you to minimize client churn, maximize retention, and drive business growth through excellent stakeholder relationships and thorough opportunity management.
To thrive in this role, you need:
  • Extensive experience in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals.
  • Extensive experience in a technology or services environment.
  • Proficiency in a team-selling approach and extensive knowledge of successful sales strategies.
  • Close attention to maintaining up-to-date, accurate sales forecasts and close plans.
  • Proven ability to develop and foster meaningful relationships with senior executives, particularly CFOs and CTOs.
  • Exceptional skills in delivering engaging sales presentations.
  • Strong negotiation skills to craft beneficial solutions for all parties involved.
  • A client-centric mindset, with the ability to understand customer problems and find best-fit solutions.
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to new missions or urgent deadlines.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or sales field.
  • Industry/Vendor sales certifications required.
