This key individual will be the technical lead for SMART Factory aspirations including Automation, Operational Technology (OT) systems and Level 3 process control leadership.

This is a critical role and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Engineer with high energy to join the existing team. This is a great development and career opportunity for someone who wants to progress in to an Engineering Leadership role.

You will be the technical lead for SMART Factory aspirations including Automation, Operational Technology (OT) systems and Level 3 process control leadership.

What You'll Do

• Promoting a safe and healthy work environment including leading by example in the development of and adherence to safe systems of work.
• Process Control leadership to ensure automated systems meet the technical and quality requirements.
• Development and continuous improvement of OT systems and equipment in line with site master plan.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of automation equipment, L3 systems, data loggers and other OT systems.
• Deliver Engineering to a high Industrial standard with a focus of safety in design.
• Provides mentoring of Instrumentation technicians to ensure a system is in place for inspection, calibration and repair of all instrumentation devices including transmitter, transducer, control valve etc. within the area of responsibilities.
• Ensure all software and hardware of PLC, DCS, VSD and PC are available and that an effective maintenance strategy is in place.
  
  

• Degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in Project Engineering of Automation systems, instrumentation and control.
• Experience in heavy industry or complex manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy industrial control equipment; PLC or DCS, Closed Loop Control and Instrumentation
• Understands safety rated automation and hardware requirements, ensures systems are in place to maintain safety ratings
• Has experience of implementing quality management systems and enforcing safety and environmental regulations.
• Able to initiate, propose and execute continuous improvement and development initiatives in OT systems to support Digitalization efforts.

• Implementation and operation of campus network security solutions globally for the production environment
• Assess and prioritize security risks in OT environments and design appropriate security controls, such as segmentation, access control, and monitoring

• Practical knowledge of market leading network security vendors and Cisco (routers, switches)
• Initiative, willingness to learn, and customer orientation as well as experience in change processes
• Knowledge of network equipment monitoring (SNMP, Rest API, dedicated tools: e.g. Nagios, CheckMK)
• Palo Alto Networks Certified, or Fortinet Network Security Expert
• Industry-recognized network & security certifications (e.g; CCNA, CCNP)
• Familiarity with Ansible or any other configuration management tool
• Familiarity with Jinja, TCL, Python, and bash scripting
• Experience with REST API requests.

Primary Functions

• To support Sales personnel in sales process, e.g. product features/functionalities clarification, implementation consideration, tender compliance, etc.
• To work closely with Sales personnel to help manage a few strategic accounts
• To conduct POC to secure sales.
• The above functions will be based on products/solutions that company distributes.
  
  

• Positive and professional working attitude, ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Hands-on experience on LAN/WAN and security solutions would be an advantage. (Those without can be considered for a junior position)
• Familiar with functionalities of IP networks & routing protocol, BGP, OSPF, DNS, AD, Proxy, etc.
• Ability to work independently but still a team player.
• Territory Qualification preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge / Experience in Firewall, Proxy, Anti-spam, VMware, Load Balancer would be an advantage.

We are looking for a Network Security Analyst to join our team in Cyberjaya.

As a Network Security Analyst, you will be involved in following work instruction-based processes to deliver first-level support for network-related requests and issues. It entails ensuring compliance with customer service level agreements and serving as the primary point of contact for escalated requests and issues.

Your core objective is to restore service for the customer as quickly as possible and, where further escalation is required, provide a single point of contact and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all policies, procedures and work instructions are followed in the interests of customer satisfaction and contractual obligations in a 24x7 environment.
• Customer focus providing consultancy to business clients regarding availability and functionality of services.
• Enforce and review MS process to ensure documentation is current and to provide management escalation for MS staff.
• Acknowledgement and qualification of NMS alerts and open causes with the appropriate priority level.

Diagnoses of problems and provide solutions to achieve service restoration.

• Provide first and second level technical support for customer fault escalations.
• Escalation as required of cases to internal, management and third-party vendors.
• Remote diagnostic troubleshooting and checks for customer incidents.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in a NOC or Data Centre support environment.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or any equivalent professional degree.
• Industry certification with one or more of the following NSE/CCNA/Aruba is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS office packages.
• General understanding of LAN/WAN/Voice/Security/Server technologies.
• Able to work on 12 hours rotational shift (Including weekends).

Accountabilities:

• An in-depth and practical understanding of networking offering- especially with Cisco technologies in DC Network, Security and WAN. A general familiarity is also expected for Campus Network and Cisco Webex platform

• Cisco Network Security (Secure Firewall, Umbrella) & Access Security (Duo, ISE, Secure Connect)
• Cisco SDWAN (Viptela, Meraki, ThousandEyes)
• Experience in solution proposal related to Zero Trust Network Access, Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Connectivity, Software-defined Networking and Hybrid Workplace.
• Secondary skills with Aruba Network, Palo Alto, Zscaler, F5.

Job Description

We are looking for a Network Security Analyst to join our team in Cyberjaya.

As a Network Security Analyst, you will be involved in following work instruction-based processes to deliver first-level support for network-related requests and issues. It entails ensuring compliance with customer service level agreements and serving as the primary point of contact for escalated requests and issues

Your core objective is to restore service for the customer as quickly as is possible and, where further escalation is required, provide a single point of contact and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all policies, procedures and work instructions are followed in the interests of customer satisfaction and contractual obligations in a 24x7 environment.
• Customer focus providing consultancy to business clients regarding availability and functionality of services.
• Enforce and review MS process to ensure documentation is current and to provide management escalation for MS staff.
• Acknowledgement and qualification of NMS alerts and open causes with the
  
  

• Diagnoses of problems and provide solutions to achieve service restoration.
• Provide first and second level technical support for customer fault escalations.
• Escalation as required of cases to internal, management and third-party vendors.
• Remote diagnostic troubleshooting and checks for customer incidents.
  
  

• Minimum 1 year experience in a NOC or Data Centre support environment.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or any equivalent professional degree.
• Industry certification with one or more of the following NSE/CCNA/Aruba is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS office packages.
• General understanding of LAN/WAN/Voice/Security/Server technologies.
• Able to work on 12 hours rotational shift (Including weekends)
