Global Network Optimization
- Responsible for the company's global supply network design and optimization projects consist of cross-functional teams (from sales/marketing, operation, and finance).

Competencies/Skills:

Role Purpose
Develop and organize the smooth and timely implementation of seasonal and mid-season freighter schedules that include securing resources (e.g. crew, slots) in meeting the commercial, operational and regulatory requirements.
Key Accountability
- Plan and produce the bi-annual (Summer & Winter) freighter schedules timely, with the accurate block hours, slots, ground times, the most cost effective of aircraft utilization hours and high potential of cargo connectivity aligning with MABkargo yearly business plan.
- Formalise the freighter schedules thru F-SCN and update the schedules in scheduling system (Flight Time) timely and accurately for MABkargo's Sales Department to market the flights and for Cargo Operations/Operating Departments info and manpower planning.
- Ensure the availability of seasonal and adhoc landing/over flight permits for freighter flights prior to departure of the flights by updating the checklist, monitoring the emails/telexes and constant communications with Network Scheduling (Regulatory Approval) department.
- Produce weekly and monthly freighter utilization hours reports by compiling and filtering data received from TCS team and disseminating to Sales, Revenue Management and Finance for their consumptions.
- Maintaining freighter block hour records by updating the latest block hour details for Network Planning department reference and to ensure the validity of freighter aircraft documentations and Foreign Operations Specification (Ops Spec) by engaging with Flight Operations and Engineering Quality Assurance.
Qualifications & Working Experience
Degree in Transport Planning, Marketing, Statistic or any related fields with 2 years of working experience in Aircraft Scheduling, Airport Rules and Regulations, IATA Regulations.
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge in flight planning/scheduling, traffic rights and IATA/ICAO basic information.
- Analytical capability for the planning task.
- Able to communicate result and provide recommendations.
Key Challenges
- To secure the desired slots at foreign stations to match with the timings required commercially.
- To maximise the utilization hours of the freighter flights for cost effectiveness of the freighter network.
- To plan for the best network connectivity between freighter flights and passenger flights (belly)to meet the budgeted load factor and yield.
