Description:
Purpose
- The Engineer's purpose is to contribute to design and engineer reliable, cost-effective, and safe engineering solutions that support the projects and the organization's operational and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
- You are responsible for planning and completing activities and deliverables within agreed time frame, as well as for ensuring system interfaces.
- You ensure that your Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and SBM's internal requirements.
- You ensure applicable lessons learnt are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
- You coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties, in accordance with contractual requirements and SBM's internal requirements.
Education
- Engineer Diploma in relevant discipline
Experience
- 0 to 5 years in any industry

- Support engineers in daily operational activities related to shipbuilding projects.
- Participate in inspections, testing, and documentation of ship components and machinery.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and records under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Conduct research and provide input for process improvement in ship design and construction.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering practices, and company procedures.
- Collaborate with project teams to support on-site and workshop activities.

Call for collaborators: MRI data analysis in the Successful Ageing project. We are seeking collaborators with expertise in MRI data analysis to join our project: Successful Ageing: Evidence-based Interventions to Delay Ageing-related Decline . Our team has collected baseline structural MRI of brain alongside other baseline measures. We aim to contribute to the analysis and interpretation of the MRI data with the goal of producing high-impact scientific publications in ageing research.
What we are looking for- Strong background in MRI brain data processing and analysis (structural imaging).
- Experience with relevant software/tools (e.g. FSL, SPM, FreeSurfer, AFNI, etc.).
- Interest in ageing, cognition, interventions or related biomedical research areas.
- Open to research collaboration and co-authorship.
- Effective immediately.
- Access to a rich dataset on ageing-related interventions.
- Opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary research team.
- Co-authorship on resulting publications.
