Job Description

  • Identify and review dashboards, alerts and alarms

  • Applying fix to the alerts and alarms.

  • Supports cross medical product solutions (9 Different Product Type)

  • Builds effective working relationships across functions and locations

  • Maintains a strong focus on delivering high quality work; holds self to high quality standards

  • Demonstrates adaptability for working in diverse environments; managemultiple tasks at a time and able to prioritize; work independently

  • Follows procedures and processes in an FDA regulated environment

  • Communicates effectively with customers; builds rapport and listens toneeds and takes action to meet customer needs

The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth operation in two main domains: 1) Be responsible for monitoring and analyzing our entire supply chain system, IT infrastructure, and facilities, responding to alerts, providing timely support to global teams, making necessary independent decisions for urgent issues or as requested by IT teams. 2) Offering Global Contact Calling Services to TD SYNNEX global coworkers for resolving urgent issues. Job Description:

1. Accept working in shifts: morning shift, swing shift, and night shift

2. Global IT monitoring service: process IT alerts by following pre-defined SLAs

3. Global call service: provide efficient calling services to global coworkers, accelerating problem-solving efficiency

4. Guide monitoring specialists during daily operations

5. Analyze monitoring data, and provide professional solutions/support based on the data analysis

6. Collaboration with the peer VMT team in China

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree

2. 3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred

3. Proficient in both Chinese ( Mandarin) and English

4. Require high vigilance and constant monitoring of the screen, so it demands extremely high discipline

5. IT background is preferred

6. Good at using Microsoft 365 software

7. Strong sense of responsibility and collaborative team spirit

Introduction:

The Transaction Monitoring Specialist is an essential element of the Payments-oriented AML policy within Blueberry. The TM Specialist will be required to monitor transactions, generate reports and undertake a bespoke, risk-based approach to identifying and preventing potentially suspicious or unusual behaviour for the purpose of money laundering and terrorist financing. As a TM Specialist you will be an SME who will be responsible for reviewing transactions within the Blueberry group to alert and identify any cautionary flags possibly related to ML/TF activities. You are expected to understand the approach of ML/TF activities and typologies and build defences and protocols around the payment and financial services at Blueberry to prevent further issues from occurring.

Note: This role requires full-time onsite presence, 5 days a week, at our Kuala Lumpur office.

Description:

Key Accountabilities

Here are some key accountabilities for the Payments Transaction Monitoring Specialist role:

  • Real-Time and Post Transaction Monitoring of transactions executed within the Blueberry ecosphere.
  • Investigation and Case Management of flagged transactions or customer behaviour patterns. The ability to compile and document clearly all the ensuing actions in an archived system. Preparing the necessary documents for a Compliance MLRO to produce a SMR or equivalent.
  • Payments Screening and Sanctions Checks of real time name and transactions screening i.e. access to SWIFT, KYT and Card Checking tools. And review payment messages, block/review transactions where required.
  • Trend and Pattern analysis of payment and client flows- identifying behaviours which are emerging fraud or AML typologies. Recommending tuning and threshold adjustments based on these trends.
  • Escalation and Reporting to AML Compliance Officer or Financial Crime Team, and support the creation of internal reports for senior management, compliance reviews and audits.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration within BB Finance and other cross-departmental teams.

  • Strong command of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English, Chinese and Mandarin.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal Mandarin is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Sharp problem-solving capabilities and a keen attention to detail, with a consistent focus on quality even in high-pressure situations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Monitor transactions in real-time and post-processing to detect fraud, anomalies, or AML risks

Investigate flagged behavior and document your findings clearly for compliance escalation

Screen payments and run sanctions checks using KYT, SWIFT, card screening, and other tools

Analyze patterns and trends in payment behavior to flag evolving risks

Recommend tuning or threshold adjustments based on data insights

Support reporting to AML officers and contribute to internal compliance reviews and audits

Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to keep our transaction flow safe, smart, and efficient

Stay ahead of regulatory expectations and ensure we’re always operating within best-practice frameworks

Desired Skills and Experience Who We’re Hoping to Find

You have experience in transaction monitoring, AML, or fraud detection, ideally within financial services

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (and Mandarin , ideally, but not highly required!)

You’re great under pressure and meticulous when documenting cases

Comfortable navigating new or bespoke systems with strong analytical thinking

Excellent time management skills,you know how to prioritize and keep things moving

Sound judgment when handling sensitive, confidential, or high-risk matters

A proactive learner who’s always looking for ways to improve and protect

A collaborative mindset and a calm, team-first approach

The Opportunity

The Transaction Monitoring team is expanding, and we are looking for experienced Transaction Monitoring Specialists to support investigations into all payments that flow through the Railsr ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Review transaction monitoring and fraud alerts in order to identify potential suspicious activity
  • Conduct Financial Crime investigations and make risk based decisions to minimize risk exposure to the business
  • Make recommendations to the business to adapt processes and transaction monitoring systems to counter new threats and emerging trends
  • Liaise with the Customer Success team and other members of the Anti-Financial Crime team to handle urgent cases and prioritise based on SLA expectations
  • Screen Business Customers and End-users for PEP, Sanctions and Adverse Media
  • Review and assess quality and accuracy of KYC information collected for business customers, including complex, multi-layered corporate customers
  • Assist with ad-hoc project work where required

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ of related experience with a financial services institution in a financial crime or compliance role
  • Knowledge of the UK and EU AML/CFT regulatory framework is a must
  • Conducting end-to-end investigations
  • Experience writing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
  • Experience conducting FinCrime investigations within a regulated environment
  • A quick learner who enjoys challenging work
  • Fluency in more than one language is preferable, strong English skills is a must
  • A strong background in using basic IT platforms
  • You are a team-oriented person
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are able to talk easily to people at all levels of your organisation.

Unlike traditional bank AML environment, you would have the chance to work and experience how professional AML works in Ant Bank Hong Kong, the second largest technology based digital bank in Hong Kong and also to join the energetic AML professional team under the market leading global financial group.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Conduct Transactional Monitoring, Know-Your-Customer (KYC), Enhance Due Diligence (EDD) and/or name screening for onboarding, periodic and trigger review on bank customers / account opening applicants within the designated Service Level Agreements before escalatoin to MLRO and/or team lead, if needed.

2) Identify and conduct investigation on suspicious transactions which might relate to sanctioned individuals, money laundering or terrorist financing and prepare the investigation and/or due diligence review report on the risk associated during the end to end investigation / due diligence review process of the Bank.

3) Maintain proper AML/CFT KYC documentations and tracking logs for review and audit trial purpose.

4) Prepare documents for internal / external examination and audit review.

5) Assist the Bank's senior management, MLRO, and the team lead in their oversight and compliance with the Group and the Bank's internal policies and external regulations of Hong Kong.

6) Closely work with relevant stakeholders of the Group and the Bank on ad-hoc projects, such as without limitation, ongoing bank side AML/CFT operations control tasks, as assigned by the Bank MLRO and the team lead.

7) Provide staff training on AML/CFT related topics, policies and procedures.

1) Bachelor degree or above.

2) At least 1-3 years' AML/CFT practical working experience in banking sectors. Hong Kong retail banking working experience will be a plus.

3) Familiar with AML and fraud risk controls, regulatory requirements and the market practices of Hong Kong retail banking sector.

4) Project management skills and UAT experience is an advantage.

5) Holders of ACAMS or equivalent AML/CFT professional qualification is an advantage.

6) Good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

7) Self-motivated and be able to work under pressure.

8) Must be proficient in English and/or Mandarin will be added as an advantage
