Objectives of this role
• Manage and direct processes and R&D (research and development) to meet the needs of our AI strategy
• Understand company and client challenges and how integrating AI capabilities can help lead to solutions
• Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and prioritizing key areas of a partner’s business where AI solutions can drive significant business benefit
• Analyze and explain AI and machine learning (ML) solutions while setting and maintaining high ethical standards

Responsibilities:
• Work on functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures, in collaboration with an advanced engineering team and executive leadership
• Collaborate across teams to align AI initiatives with organizational goals, integrate AI into broader system architectures, and ensure the smooth integration and functionality of ML models within our infrastructure
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in AI, machine learning and suggest improvements to existing systems and workflows to maintain our competitive edge.
• Continuously evaluate and iterate on machine learning models to enhance performance based on metrics and feedback from operational teams.
• Serve as liaison between stakeholders and project teams, delivering feedback and enabling team members to make necessary changes in product performance or presentation

This role supports the implementation and management of AI and analytics platforms, overseeing MLOps processes, including statistical analysis and model evaluation.

Involved in the evaluation and integration of third-party AI solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and AI governance frameworks. A key aspect of the role involves developing and/or integrating generative AI solutions, such as chatbots and agents, to enhance automation and user interaction.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Support the implementation and enhancement of the AI and analytics platform, including infrastructure-as-code setup and automation using Terraform or AWS CDK. Ensure alignment with existing cloud architecture and data infrastructure.
• Manage the full lifecycle of AI/ML models using the established platform—covering pre-trained model importation (if applicable), training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, inference execution, and integration of outputs into downstream applications and automation workflows.
• Involve in the end-to-end vendor evaluation and procurement process (e.g., RFI, RFP, vendor selection, due diligence) to Implement and adapt third-party AI solutions and assets within the GIMB local environment, ensuring alignment with organizational architectural principles, established AI governance frameworks, and relevant technical standards.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements, and integrate AI model outputs into business processes and reporting applications.
• Support the implementation of AI governance framework to ensure that AI solutions adhere to ethical standards, data privacy regulations, model explainability, and responsible AI practices.
• Lead the development and implementation of ground truth datasets and labeling processes to ensure high-quality data for training, evaluating, and monitoring AI/ML models, including the compilation of performance metrics and statistical analysis to drive model improvement and business insights.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or above in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 4 years and above in AI/ML engineering, data science or related fields
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks/algorithms (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Langchain)
• Proficiency in generative AI and LLM-related techniques (e.g., natural language processing, model fine-tuning) with familiarity in LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other LLM handling frameworks.
• Expertise in designing and deploying solutions on AWS or other cloud platforms
• Understanding of MLOps concepts (CI/CD and statistical monitoring)
• Familiarity with event-driven and serverless architectures (AWS Lambda/Fargate)

About the Role/ The Opportunity:

We are seeking a forward-thinking AI Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping intelligent solutions within the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about building AI-powered experiences that enhance productivity, decision-making, and user engagement as well as someone who demonstrates a strong drive and passion for achieving goals and delivering results. Exhibiting a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn and explore new technologies, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Microsoft Copilot Agents. Your contributions will directly impact how users interact with data and automation in their daily workflows.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and deploy Microsoft Copilot AI agents.
• Experiment and evaluate non-Microsoft AI tools, applications and models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for AI projects.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and model training workflows in Microsoft Azure.
• Monitor and optimize Copilot Agent performance in production environments.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Microsoft PowerApps / Copilot development.
• 1-2 years of experience in software development using Python.

About the Role/ The Opportunity:

We are seeking a forward-thinking AI Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping intelligent solutions within the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about building AI-powered experiences that enhance productivity, decision-making, and user engagement as well as someone who demonstrates a strong drive and passion for achieving goals and delivering results. Exhibiting a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn and explore new technologies, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Microsoft Copilot Agents. Your contributions will directly impact how users interact with data and automation in their daily workflows.

What You’ll Do:

Design, build, and deploy Microsoft Copilot AI agents. Experiment and evaluate non-Microsoft AI tools, applications and models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for AI projects. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and model training workflows in Microsoft Azure. Monitor and optimize Copilot Agent performance in production environments. Stay current with the latest AI research and technologies.

What You Need To Succeed

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in Microsoft PowerApps / Copilot development. 1-2 years of experience in software development using Python. Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms for Agent deployment and scaling. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and techniques such as RAG. Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) and vector databases. Knowledge of data governance, model explainability, and ethical AI practices.
