• Perform and support specific biomedical equipment maintenance activities at hospital premises under his responsibilities including testing and commissioning, warranty management, scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, asset decommission, advisory services, user training, vendor management, parts delivery to comply with the hospital support service’s contract agreement and safety requirement.
• Ensure all activities comply with Quality, Safety, Health and environment activities (Quality Assurance Program, Risk Management, Hazard Alert and Recall, Handling Hazardous Equipment) as per contract agreement.
• Drive service compliance such as ISO 13485:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14971:2018, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007and 6S audit to achieve company’s strategy and corporate score card.
• Implement cost saving activities to achieve company financial annual target.
• Ensure Deduction Formula and Penalty for related equipment does not exceed company’s target by performing activities such as repair of equipment less than seven (7) working days including communication with vendors, work order response less than 15 minutes (emergency) and 2 hours (normal call), planned preventive maintenance completed before target date, ensure equipment are functioning and maintained as per specified uptime target and testing and commissioning and warranty management completed as per schedule according to contract.
• Provide on job training to technical personnel to build up staff’s competency level.
• Produce reports related to specific biomedical equipment (Engineering Operation Data, Condition Appraisal, Technical Report) using ASIS in line with contract’s agreement.
• Drive state holder management (external -Contractor Performance Assessment and Customer Satisfaction Survey, internal – headquarters, vendor etc.) effectively by providing excellent services to maintain good relationship and achieve high customer satisfaction level as per Key Performance Indicator (KPI) set by Company and Ministry of Health.
  
  
  

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or related Engineering.
• At least 2 - 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Certificate of Competency from the corresponding manufacturer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia or Malaysian Board of Technologies

Support BEMS equipment audits, technical programs, and maintenance activities as a Graduate Trainee at UEM Edgenta Berhad in Ipoh.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in BEMS Equipment Audit processes and documentation.
• Supporting the execution of the BEMS Technical Competency Programme.
• Monitoring and tracking cost-saving initiatives across assigned sites.
• Participating in the BEMS LEAN Program, facilitated by ROPRK.
• Contributing to HEPPM tasks, Type Code standardization, and other technical projects.
• Assisting RHB in Continuous Improvement Programs and Green Productivity (GP) planning.
• Supporting follow-up efforts and improvement plans on ageing assets across 16 hospitals.
• Providing support in preparing technical advice and condition appraisal reports for site hospitals.
• Assisting with Breakdown Maintenance and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities at site level.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
