**In this role, you will**
+ Serve as a reliable source of medical and scientific insights for the organization, contributing expertise to inform strategic development, initiatives, and projects.
+ Develop a comprehensive medical strategy and medical affairs plan, ensuring alignment with disease-specific strategies and integration with the commercial strategies of the business and customer areas.
+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, map, and develop relationships with KOLs in the clinical field. Maintain an updated KOL database and relevant tools, and design effective KOL engagement programs. Actively participate in the process of updating clinical guidelines and influencing clinical practices through high-value medical diagnostic solutions.
+ Develop medical education programs and contents; deliver and support the medical education initiatives and activities to clinicians and other healthcare stakeholders.
+ Identify the evidence gap, develop evidence generation strategy, initiate clinical and scientific studies and drive publication and the use of the evidence in clinical adoption
+ Offer medical and scientific insights to external stakeholders to support and facilitate the clinical adoption of diagnostic solutions, while effectively communicating and managing off-label use in response to unsolicited requests.
+ Deliver medical and scientific support for commercial, market access, patient access, and innovation initiatives as needed.
+ Provide training and education to internal stakeholders to build the awareness and expertise on the medical value of diagnostics solutions
+ Provide medical governance to the development of medical content, review and approve medical and scientific contents in promotional materials.
+ May act as a coach for colleagues with less experience and provide guidance. Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance the target audience experience. Work autonomously; complete work with minimal supervision or guidance but maintain communication with supervisor regarding progress.

**Sales/ Development Leadership**

+ Disseminate product information to doctors, physicians, pharmacists and nurses in a convincing manner using the prescribed product positioning, promotional messages and set objectives in line with marketing strategy
+ Adapt to individual customer styles and utilise appropriate selling skills to deliver effective call
+ Use visual aids appropriately to support key messages and deliver of effective call.
+ Apply knowledge of all promoted products, key competitor products, major clinical trials, and clinical disease states to maximise promotional effectiveness.
+ Update product knowledge and disease knowledge so as to make effective calls to customers. Participate in product training or certification programs as per requirements. Make a predetermined number of effective calls to identified potential doctors' to promote products in alignment with the patient centric selling.
+ Conduct Pre-call planning for each day's work in advance with clear objectives for each call; perform post-call analysis and review visited customers' feedback for continuous improvement.
+ Report details of daily call activities as per the guidelines provided.
**Sales Activity**
+ Execute TAP and marketing activities to targeted customers in line with marketing strategies to optimise prescription
+ Assist in/ organize meetings, seminars, group- selling activities (GSA) and CMEs to promote company image and / or product awareness with the objective of achieving sales target.
+ Collect complete current and new customer data on territory, maintain and update as the prescribed format on customer database in ETMS. This includes assisting the SM to conduct quality customer surveys-potential mapping, non-prescriber survey for segmenting & targeting exercise to identify appropriate target customers. Monitor competitor activities including expansion plan, territory reorganization, products, pricing and provide regular feedback to SM/ BMNSM and product/channel management team.
+ Be aware of hospital tender prices, formulary listings and existing tender duration of current products (if applicable) and provide timely feedback to SM and product/channel management team. For GP and pharmacy, be aware of competitor prices and activities feedback timely relevant stakeholders.
+ Ensure all sales activities are operating within cost effective coverage with approved budget and judicious use of resources across the territories.

The Medical Affairs Partner (MAP) demonstrates personal purpose around improving the patient journey, as well as strong passion to create value and impact on the ecosystem. The MAP is a senior level role within the affiliate, who has decision making authority to request resources of Roche (both within the affiliate and broader network) in order to have improved impact on the patient journey.
They are a core member of the disease area pod working in close collaboration with the Patient Journey Partners (PJP). The MAP spends majority of their time in the field close to customers communicating the value of Roche's science and products to physicians, investigators and institutions. They think from an enterprise level, and will also be a member of an APAC level network working across borders, to realize and scale country outcomes by contributing to virtual, cross border, cross functional work package teams.
**The Opportunity:**
The Medical Affairs Partner has a reporting line to the Country Medical, Innovation and Regulatory Lead, serves the affiliate vision with an aligned mindset and behaviors.
+ Oversee the patient journey in its entirety, acts as a system thinker with the ability to identify shared purpose among stakeholders and cocreate with them to bring better outcomes for patients faster by translating insights into strategic and actionable recommendations.
+ Bring the inside out, to bring Roche expertise, science and knowledge to the ecosystem. Steward Roche's products through their lifecycle and supports their appropriate use, which includes sharing their merits with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in a truthful and balanced manner. + Evidence generation skills is required. Supports relevant Product Development Medical Affairs (Global Medical Affairs) (PDMA) and Country Clinical Operationstrial, Early Access Program and Compassionate Use program activities within their diseasearea/ecosystem
+ Work efficiently and harmoniously in a cross-functional team, able to formulate cross-functionalstrategies and orchestrate cross-functional teams. Experience in agile ways of working is highlydesired.
+ Experience with medical review of promotional materials is required.
+ Ability to leverage digital means and tools is required.
+ Proficiency in English is required, fluency in the local language is desired.

Education & Expertise:
