Job Description
As a Customer Support Engineer, you are the primary technical point of contact for customers. You'll provide operational and administrative support to our customers regarding the processing of clinical cases, offer guidance on product functionality, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You'll handle the flow of incoming cases and follow up on the timing and on-time delivery of these cases.
- Independently handle all external and internal requests regarding clinical cases for a diverse group of products and partners on a daily basis
- Manage the flow of incoming cases and initiate their operational processing
- Receive the incoming images for new cases and prepare them for processing, following up with partners on any rejected images
- Monitor case processing, ensuring all cases are processed, produced, and shipped to the customer within the agreed timelines
- Communicate with the different stakeholders in case of delays or issues with the flow, and intervene when timings are changed or need to be changed
- Provide information within an acceptable time frame to business relations, partners, and customers regarding the case management flow and process
- Detect and escalate recurring problems on the operational side
- Prepare regular reports regarding the processed cases for invoicing and reporting purposes
- Participate in the integration of medical customer service engineer operations for new partners and/or products
- Possess at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in biomedical engineering or any related discipline (biotech, bioscience, biomedicine, nursing, etc.)
- A careful and detail-oriented person who is proficient in using computers and software
- Good communication and writing skills in English
- Knowledge, experience, or qualifications in 3D CAD (Computer-Aided Design), medical imaging (radiology/CT/MRI scanners), or anatomy are a plus

The administrative team operates on a flexible schedule with rotating Saturday shift schedule determined by the Practice Manager. Standard work week per CI Labour Law.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant health science (nursing, psychology).
- 5 years experience in healthcare or healthcare administration
- Extensive experience with health insurance, medical coding and health record system administration.
- Excellent written and oral communication, telephone etiquette.

Primary Duties:
Primary responsibility is to assist with all aspects of the Company’s Clinical Reception, including but not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management

In this role, you will positively influence customers’ prescribing behaviour to achieve sales targets, develop territory and build strong customer relationships with the objective of maximising sales volume and market share of designated products on a given territory.
Main Responsibilities
Sales Achievement
- Effectively implement sales strategy and tactics, plan of action (POA) in accordance with company policies.
- Regularly monitor territory’s sales performance to initiate appropriate actions.
- Facilitate enlistment of newly launched and key products in hospitals and clinics by planned date.
Territory Business Planning
- Conduct analysis of market/competitors to identify territory business opportunities.
- Develop territory plan and allocate resources (e.g. call activities, budget), for optimal sales impact.
- Monitor territory business plan to ensure resources are directed to customers of the greatest potential.
- Participate in promotional activity programmes to increase product awareness in the market.
Customer Focus and Service
- Update territory customer segmentation classification, database and call records continuously.
- Deliver key promotional messages according to approved plan.
- Build trust and credibility with customers by demonstrating integrity and acting within the AstraZeneca Code of Conduct.
- Check stock and advise on customer inventories.
- Explore and expand new customer base.
Reporting/ Administration
- Submit monthly reports commenting on deviations from Business Plan and intended actions to align performance with objectives.
- Ensure punctual delivery of reports/ synchronisation of ETMS Veeva.
- Monitor and assess sales transactions to identify potential irregular sales patterns.
Personal Development
- Develop behaviours leading to enhanced effectiveness as outlined in the Medical Representative Competency framework.
- Identify areas for self-development and discuss developmental needs with the line manager.
- Attend & actively participate in sales meetings, product and sales training.
Essential Requirements
- Your education background is in science, preferably a degree or masters in a top university.
- You have experience or a keen interest in pharmaceutical sales and healthcare industries.
