Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Lead and execute always-on and campaign-based social strategies.
  • Develop social media and content proposals with minimal supervision.
  • Map short- and long-term strategies with clear implementation plans.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging ad formats.
  • Contribute to discussions that result in effective, innovative social outputs.

Content Management

  • Oversee content calendars, creative briefs, and publishing schedules across platforms (Meta – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X; YouTube; TikTok).

  • Ensure content aligns with best practices for both organic and paid media.
  • Collaborate with creative teams, content creators, and production resources to deliver high-quality assets
  • Comfortable with copywriting for social content and community responses.

Community Management

  • Experienced with content management and publishing tools (e.g., Sprinklr) and able to learn new tools quickly.
  • Supervise and participate in community moderation to facilitate timely, on-brand responses.
  • Manage crisis situations on social media, following established protocols, and deliver clear, accurate incident reports.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Familiar with social listening tools to monitor brand health, share of voice, and public sentiment.
  • Create regular reports on always-on and campaign performance against client benchmarks.
  • Analyse data to extract actionable insights and make recommendations for optimisation.
  • Confident in using analytics tools for social media performance tracking.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage projects end-to-end, from client brief to creative delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Oversee budgets and timelines, proactively identifying risks and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.

Job Specifications

1. Knowledge and Experiences Required

  • 5–7 years’ relevant experience in social media management, with proven success in content creation, community engagement, and paid media campaigns.
  • Possess leadership qualities to work effectively with cross-discipline teams.
  • Experience with entertainment, film, tourism, travel, luxury, or automotive brands is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Partnerships: Manage relationships with influencers/KOLs and developer communities.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in social media management; B2B Tech/SaaS/Hosting experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced English (C1+) with clear, concise business/technical communication.
  • Solid understanding of hosting: domains & DNS, SSL/TLS, CDN, uptime/monitoring, shared/VPS/dedicated, cPanel/Plesk, WordPress hosting.
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling; ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • SEO competency: Keyword research, search intent analysis, on-page basics (titles/meta, H1s, internal linking), content briefs; track performance via GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush.
  • Hands-on with GA4, UTM tracking, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Suite, X Ads.

Cyber Pulse is on the hunt for an innovative Social Media Manager to elevate our online presence. In this role, you will develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand engagement and reach new audiences. If you have a knack for storytelling and a passion for analytics, come make an impact with us! Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and manage social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Create engaging, high-quality content, including posts, stories, and campaigns. Monitor trends, track analytics, and optimize content based on performance data. Engage with followers, respond to comments, and build a strong online community. Collaborate with the design team to create visuals aligned with Cyber Pulse’s brand.

Requirements: Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer). Creativity and ability to adapt content to different audiences.

As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media plans based on the communication strategy provided by the Marketing Manager. You have a deep understanding of Malaysia’s social media landscape, staying up to date with the latest trends, conversational topics, and cultural moments. Quick to spot and apply relevant trends, you will ensure our content remains fresh, timely, and highly engaging. You will also coordinate content production with creative teams (for visual design) and content creators (for social channels), driving brand awareness and growing CARSOME’s social media presence. Monitoring performance and making data-driven adjustments will be essential to your role as well. Your Day-to-Day Strategy Development: Create and implement full social media strategies aligned with marketing objectives and overall business goals. Hands-on Content Creation & Editing: Actively participate in content creation, including video shooting, photography, and editing, to ensure that content is dynamic, engaging, and on-trend. Be ready to step in for content editing across platforms as needed, ensuring timely and high-quality output. Content Coordination & Execution: Oversee content production across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube), working closely with creative teams for visuals and content creators for platform-specific content. Community Engagement: Manage online communities by responding to comments, fostering conversations, and ensuring the brand tone is consistently reflected. Campaign Implementation: Lead the execution of digital campaigns from start to finish, aligning them with the marketing calendar and ensuring timely delivery. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track key social media metrics, providing insights and data-driven recommendations for optimizing performance and audience engagement. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with creative, performance, and PR teams to ensure all content and messaging remain consistent and aligned with the broader marketing strategy. Trend Monitoring & Platform Optimization: Stay current with social media trends, tools, and platform updates, adapting strategies to maximize reach and engagement. Be quick to spot relevant trends and incorporate them into content. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide your social media team, including senior executives, content creators, and live commerce hosts, to ensure smooth coordination and execution. Your Know-How Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 4-5 years of experience in social media marketing, with proven success in managing brand presence across multiple platforms. Strong knowledge of social media tools and platforms, with practical experience in creating and editing social media content (video editing, photo editing, graphic design). Hands-on experience with content creation, including shooting and editing videos and photos, for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Proficiency in editing software such as Canva, CapCut, or other tools relevant to social media content production. Proven track record of growing and engaging online communities and executing successful campaigns. Experience with campaign management and handling paid social media budgets. Strong analytical skills to track performance and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a creative flair for engaging content. Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and manage a team while working collaboratively with other departments. Up-to-date with social media trends and conversational topics in Malaysia, with the ability to quickly adapt and incorporate them into content strategies.
