- Contribute to SCM improvement initiatives to enhance processes, efficiency, and risk management.
- Maintain strong working relationships with relevant authorities, internal teams, and external stakeholders to support divisional objectives.

Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate receipt of materials and goods into a manufacturing facility, ensuring alignment with production schedules and inventory accuracy. This role also bridges operational activities with business systems, playing a key part in maintaining and improving the flow of data and processes within ERP and warehouse management systems. This dual-focus role requires both hands-on operational leadership and a strong understanding of system architecture and process integration within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving Operations (Manufacturing Focus):
- Lead the receiving team to ensure accurate and timely receipt of raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
- Coordinate with procurement, production planning, and quality assurance to ensure materials meet specifications and are available for production schedules.
- Oversee unloading, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records in the ERP system and ensure proper labeling and storage of received items.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, delivery notes, and actual receipts.
- Serve as the operational point of contact for ERP/WMS-related issues and enhancements.
- Collaborate with SMEs and process engineering teams to streamline system workflows and data integration between receiving, inventory, and production modules.
- Support system testing, upgrades, and implementation of new features or modules.
- Document and maintain SOPs, process maps, and system architecture diagrams related to receiving and inventory flows.
- Train team members on system usage, data entry standards, and process compliance.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- >5 years of experience in inventory or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, BOMs, and material traceability requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and process documentation tools.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Background in system implementation or digital transformation projects.

- Maintain the central store ensuring sufficient stocks are available for use while preventing overstocking for the hospital.
- Order, receive and barcode label of goods in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Store the materials in proper designated location and label or tag with clear identification.
- To transfer stock to other sub stores when requested.
- To monitor stock expiry and minimize stock wastage due to expiry.
- Perform periodic stock takes to ensure physical stocks tally with HIS system.
- To maintain records of transfer requests and goods received notes in both hard copy and in the system.
- Maintain the central store, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
- Report, document and track damages and discrepancies on orders received.
- Segregate expired and recall products in designated areas for further action of return or dispose.
- Perform any other duties, or participate in committees or projects, that are assigned from superior or management from time to time.
- Candidate must possess at least SPM or Diploma level in any field.
- Good command of both written & spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.
- Healthy physically and mentally.
- Experience in 5S methodology is an added advantage.
- Computer literacy with basic knowledge in Microsoft Office is required.
