Lead and assign roles to senior officers with respect to the Safety Management System (S.M.S); Ensure the SMS system is kept current through regular audits; Ensure all records are kept current and accurate. Ensure all ship’s crew possess qualifications that comply with maritime regulations and conventions, such as MARPOL, SOLAS, SCTW, and ISPS; and Ensure that onboard training requirements are met. The ideal candidate should preferably:- Possess a valid Certificate of Competency (Deck Officer) Class 1. Have at least 4 years of experience as a Ship Master onboard a container vessel.
