1. Provide administrative support to business operations, including data entry, email sorting, and filing activities.
2. Perform data entry of source documents into the computer database to support business functions.
3. Process master data creation, updates, and validation within SLA, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
4. Maintain master data integrity in ERP systems and support data quality processes.
5. Manage data governance and ensure data quality of master data in collaboration with functional data owners, maintaining consistency and adherence to business rules.
6. Support ad hoc projects aimed at process improvement, data cleanup, and mapping activities.

Qualifications

1. Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Degree. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
2. Experience with SAP or Shared Service environments is advantageous.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
4. Understanding of Data Management and process flow control is essential.
5. Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.

**Position Title:** Oracle Master Data Management Team Member
**Location:** Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

**The job**
AVEVA is undertaking a large finance transformation (Advance). This includes implementing a new ERP, a Legal Entity Rationalisation Programme (LERP), Target Operating Model changes and process and structural related changes.
The new ERP system (Oracle) is highly dependent on the accurate set-up of Master data and there is an ongoing requirement to manage Customer and Supplier information.
AVEVA is seeking an Oracle Master Data Management (MDM) team member to join the Oracle Master data Team
**Key responsibilities**
+ Administer and maintain accurate data within the systems used by the master data team
+ Liaise with various teams in the department
+ Maintain, review and monitor systems to ensure data accuracy
+ Assist with risk assessments, implementing any necessary changes to contain and reduce risks
+ Assist with the maintenance and review of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure they are accurate and up to date at all times
+ Support internal projects to ensure activities are completed within given timelines
**Activities include:**
_Creation and Maintenance of Supplier data in Oracle:_
+ Review of requests from Procurement for new suppliers to ensure the supplier does not already exist
+ Set-up of new suppliers and adjustments to existing suppliers based on the requests received and follow up to ensure approvers provide a timely response
+ Liaison with Procurement/AP Teams regarding any system errors arising out of master data errors
_Creation and Maintenance of Customers in Oracle:_
+ Review of requests from Commercial Operations/Sales Operations for new customers to ensure the customer does not already exist
+ Set-up of new customers and adjustments to existing customer based on the requests received
+ Liaison with Credit Management to ensure that credit scores and credit limits are appropriately reflected in Oracle
+ Liaison with Commercial Operations Team regarding any system errors arising out of master data errors
_Data Migration:_
+ Review Data upload files before loading to ensure the data being loaded is correct
+ Manage review process post data load to ensure data has all been correctly loaded and in accordance with local requirements
Performance Management
+ Ensure that KPI's are met
+ Recommend as appropriate changes to processes.
+ Identify process improvements in the Master Data process
**Requirements**
+ Mandarin and English high proficiency speaking and written capabilities
+ Good communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal
+ Previous experience within an administration focused role.
+ Experience of project work
+ Strong sense of integrity
+ Strong Stakeholder Management skills
+ Experience of Outlook and basic Microsoft package, Excel high expertise desirable
+ Previous Oracle experience - desirable
+ SQL, Microsoft VBA or other digital data tools experience desirable

Work you’ll do

· Oversee and enhance data management processes, including data quality, profiling, cleansing, change monitoring, and client segmentation.

· Lead data integration efforts, including sourcing, matching, merging, and maintaining master data for clients, vendors, and finance.

· Drive business process improvements and develop process documentation and training materials.

· Ensure data integrity and compliance with firm policies across systems.

· Support ETL activities and data enrichment using internal and third-party sources.

· Collaborate with technology teams on data strategy, architecture, privacy, and security.

· Monitor, cleanse, and validate customer and vendor data, and develop data quality scorecards.

· Implement controls to ensure compliance with data standards and optimize processes for efficiency.

· Analyze root causes of data quality issues and recommend remediation.

· Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide regular updates to leadership.

· Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to junior team members; participate in hiring and onboarding.

· Support operational data management activities for key financial and master data domains.

Requirements

· Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables), SQL; VBA, Informatica 360 and SAP/HANA S4 preferred.

· Experience with databases (D&B, Hoovers, SEC filings, OneSource).

· Ability to prioritize, schedule, and deliver work to meet deadlines and SLAs.

· Experience in business process improvement and establishing best practices.

· People management and cross-functional collaboration experience.

· Self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

Education & Experience

· 10+ years’ relevant experience in data management, preferably in a professional services firm.

· Hands-on experience with customer, vendor, and finance master data management.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of operational activities associated with Customer/Vendor/ Employee master data management for the respective countries, this includes conduct assigned controls on a day-to-day basis, create and store evidence as per Group/Division ICS policy.
• Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management.
• Regular engagement with country teams and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes.
• Address and resolve all queries or escalations from all stakeholders on a timely basis to minimize business risk.
• Remain up to date and comply with relevant policies, controls, thresholds, and standard operating procedures, including support documentation on work instruction.
• Work closely with the Team Lead, Process Specialist, business stakeholders and to embed process changes, improvements and address any process deviation.
• Provide regular updates to the Team Lead and Process Analyst/Specialist on process completion and any escalations.
• Support on internal and external audit activities.
• Support any business requirement including ad hoc reporting, data analysis and finance related projects.
• Support on-the-job training to the new joiners in the team/retraining of the existing resources based on the need identified in the process.
• Provide input into the continuous improvement agenda by providing documented ideas to improve quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Master Data Management.
• Able to speak, read and write in English and Korean Language.
• Good communication skill and strong adaptability.
• Proven analytical skills, including the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights, are required.
