Role: Paid AdvertisingStrategist (Full Time or Part Time Available)
Location: Hybrid / Office at Taipan USJ, Malaysia
Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Senority: Mid-Level or Senior
If you’re tired of “meh” job listings that read like a boring report from Office Space.
And if you’re craving a real opportunity to flex your performance marketing muscles in a lean, hungry team that’s scaling fast (and taking clients with us).
Then this just might be the one .
We’re Forwrd Agency —a fast-growing growth marketing company that turns small businesses into 6-figure powerhouses through paid advertising that actually works . Think killer creative, smart media buying, tight funnels, and ROI that slaps.
We’re looking for a Social Advertising Strategist to take the wheel and drive serious results for our clients.
What’s This Role All About?
You’ll be the quarterback of growth —crafting paid ad strategies, leading a tight-knit team of creatives and media buyers, and keeping your finger on the pulse of performance. This isn’t a hands-off strategy role. It’s definitely a role that would need you to be super hands on!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact for clients, understanding their challenges, industries, and goals (e.g., “100 new customers at $10 CPA”) and translate them into actionable campaign plans.
- Strategy Development: Develop paid advertising strategies that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth for small businesses (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, TikTok).
- Campaign Oversight: Lead a lean pod (Creative and Media specialists) to execute campaigns, ensuring alignment across strategy, creative assets, and media execution.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor campaign metrics, provide actionable insights, and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of advertising trends, platform updates, and emerging opportunities to bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Communication: Present strategies, campaign updates, and performance reports to clients with clarity and confidence.
- Project Management: Balance multiple client projects, delivering fast turnarounds without sacrificing quality.
You Might Be the One If:
- 1+ year of experience in growth marketing or paid advertising, ideally with small business or lean-budget campaigns.
- Proven success driving profitable paid ad campaigns (e.g., strong ROAS, low CPA) on platforms like Meta Ads, Google Ads, or similar.
- Experience leading small teams or coordinating cross-functional efforts (e.g., creative + media).
- Deep understanding of growth funnels (awareness → conversion), audience targeting, and campaign optimization.
- Analytical chops—comfortable tracking and acting on KPIs like CTR, CPA, and ROAS.
- Stellar communication skills—can distill complex strategies into simple, actionable plans for clients and team.
- Hands-on proficiency with ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) and basic analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Bonus: Experience with growth hacking, e-commerce, or scaling small businesses.
What’s In It For You?
- Drive real growth for small businesses that rely on your expertise to thrive.
- Work in a lean, no-BS team where your impact is immediate and massive.
- Ownership, no micro-managing. But you are required to take full accountability of your work.
- Competitive & Transparent Salary and Incentive Plan. The more revenue you generate, the higher your base and incentives.
How to Apply:
Send your resume, and a quick rundown of a paid ad campaign you’ve crushed (budget, platform, results), and why you’re pumped to grow small businesses.
*Those we do not send the above, may be rejected.
Let’s make growth happen—together!
