We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Director to lead integrated digital campaigns, drive measurable growth, and strengthen commercial relationships across new and existing accounts.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in building partnerships with key industry players, aligning cross-functional teams, and accelerating performance across digital channels.

You’ll champion StudyNext’s mission to empower learners and support education providers through a transparent, student-first platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Develop mid to long term strategies to deliver on direct response marketing
  • Lead the strategy and execution of direct response marketing across eDMs, lead generation, programmatic display, paid social, video, native, and mobile channels.
  • Build and deliver high-performing, cost-efficient campaigns focused on scalable ROI and continuous optimisation.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, content, analytics, and data teams to align audience segmentation, messaging, and testing frameworks.
  • Own marketing performance reporting and insights, using data to inform budget allocations and strategic pivots.
  • Manage external agency and vendor relationships to ensure high-impact delivery and best-in-class media performance.

Strategic Partnerships and Business Development

  • Develop and execute partnership strategies with major Australian publishers to amplify reach and deliver targeted performance outcomes.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic pitches, collaboration with creative and data teams, and tailored media solutions.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and trusted point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships grounded in results and insight.
  • Present quarterly and annual forecasts to the Commercial Director, incorporating deep commercial planning and strategic account growth.

Cross – functional collaboration

  • Build strong, productive relationships with internal product, engineering, design, and commercial teams to align on roadmaps and unlock new marketing capabilities.
  • Partner with external stakeholders and platform teams to pilot new features, improve integrations, and unlock performance efficiencies.
  • Act as a connector across the business ensuring digital initiatives are aligned with product innovation, business goals, and customer needs.

KPI’s

  • Website traffic - organic, paid search, social, referrals and email
  • Lead generation - total leads, cost per lead
  • Applications - lead to start conversion, cost per application and enrolments
Qualifications

Education:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
  • Confident using marketing platforms (e.g. CM360, Google Analytics, Search Console, Ad Manager CRM tools, dashboards) to drive decisions.
  • Skilled in marketing briefing, quality assurance, and performance optimisation.
  • Able to connect data and insights directly to creative, targeting, and messaging strategies.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing and performance-led strategy, with senior-level experience in cross-functional leadership.
  • Proven ability to develop high-impact campaigns across a wide range of digital channels and platforms.
  • Commercially savvy with experience in building new business pipelines, developing partnerships, and presenting strategic growth plans.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to manage both executive stakeholders and day-to-day teams across internal and external groups.
  • Passion for experimentation, data-led decision-making, and staying ahead of industry trends especially in media partnerships and platform innovation.

Technical:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing concepts , including performance marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimisation (SEO), social media and content amplification, email marketing, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), shopping ads, online customer journey mapping, O2O marketing, digital OOH advertising, programmatic advertising, and marketing automation.
  • Extensive, in-depth hands-on experience utilising a broad range of advertising platforms such as Google (Search, Display, Performance Max), Meta (Facebook, Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, Teads, Infuse, DV360, etc.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect marketing metrics to overarching business goals.

Job Description

The Digital Marketing Director will primarily plan, manage and execute digital marketing campaigns of key strategic brand partners. The candidate will work closely with the eCommerce commercial team and brand teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns while hitting traffic/ performance KPIs on platforms like Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, etc.

The ideal candidate should be well-versed in marketplace/ onsite ad, social media marketing and CPAS, as well as able to communicate effectively within a multicultural team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management

§ Act as the point of contact for any digital marketing requirement needed by assigned brands

§ Design, manage and implement digital campaign plans of assigned brands

§ Track and evaluate the performance of digital marketing campaign

§ Manage brands’ allocated digital marketing budget for eCommerce

§ Maintain ROI while hitting commercial & traffic targets

§ Work closely with the commercial teams to create and execute eCommerce marketplace campaigns

Channel Management

§ Responsible for scheduling, uploading, boosting, and monitoring ads on Marketplace, Facebook, Instagram, Google

§ Analyze campaign reports and optimize performance

§ Work closely with the marketplace teams eg Lazada, Shopee to stay abreast on new onsite tools & other marketing solutions

Team Management

§ As the subject matter expert in the team

§ Build a team over time as we expand the client list & capabilities in the team

§ Develop & grow the digital marketing team

§ Shape the strategic direction for the digital marketing team

Content Planning

§ Build and maintain a content calendar of assigned brands

§ Work with the creative team in creating best-in-class content

§ Have a Bachelor's Degree in related fields and equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations

§ A people manager who grow together with the team

§ Have at least five (5) years proven experience in digital marketing, platform/ marketplace experience & knowledge

§ Strong knowledge of various aspects of digital marketing including SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, marketing automation and digital marketing analytics tools

§ Strong analytical skills to be able to interpret, report and plan based on metrics

§ Hands-on experience in content planning and development

§ Well-versed in the use of social media as a marketing tool

§ Understand website metrics and best practices

§ Excellent copywriting skills

§ Ability to work under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and prioritize responsibilities.

§ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with proven ability to represent LUXASIA in external meetings
