**Job Description**
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Perform programming and troubleshooting of SMT lines. SPI /AOI inspection systems and other designed manufacturing equipment.
+ Monitor machine performance and fine-tune programs to improve accuracy and productivity.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams (Equipment, QA and Operations team) to resolve issues.
+ Minimize product changeover duration and process fine-tuning requirements.
+ Maintain production runs at optimal yield levels.
+ Undertake additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
**Qualifications**
REQUIRED:
+ Diploma related Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Technology.
+ Minimum 2 years of recent experience working in an area of their specialty or related field.
+ Willing to work in 12 hours rotation shift.
+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
PREFERRED:
+ Hands-on experience with **FUJI NXT Pick and Place** machines.
+ Familiar with **AOI programming** (Koh Young).
SKILLS:
+ Basic knowledge of electronics components and PCB assembly.
+ Good communication and teamwork skills.
+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Able to work on rotating shifts and perform overtime if required.

**Purpose**
Opportunity to join as an Operations Technician Process - Gas Processing Unit (GPU) for the first Deepwater Sour Gas development in Sarawak, the Rosmari and Marjoram Onshore Gas Plant (OGP) to deliver Safe production of hydrocarbon within operating envelope, business targets, and regulatory compliances, including: -  
+ Manage processes for high H2S acid gas removal, stabilization, sulphur recovery/palletization, and MEG system for export of sweet gas and sulphur to customers 
**Skills and Requirements**
Minimum
1. 4 years' relevant Process technician experiences in Sour Gas Plant or Integrated Refinery/Petrochemical plant
2. Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU) or/and Amine Treating Experiences
3. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia communication/writing skills, with ability to interface well with various stakeholders
4. Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills

**Dimensions **
The incumbent will be based in the current working/base location at the early stage of the project and will progressively be relocated to Bintulu R&M OGP Office to support the Commissioning, Start Up, and Operations of OGP. 
1. Reports to R&M Production Delivery Manager PU2. 
2. The incumbent will work on 12 hours shift cycle typically 4 or 8 consecutive day or night shifts, followed by 4 or 8 consecutive days off rotation cycle, subjected to requirements
3. R&M OGP produces 800 MMscf/d of Gas and 17kboe/d of NGL with high Annual Operating Expenditure (OPEX). Gas production is expected to start in 2026 and will be piped to the neighboring Petronas Liquified Natural Gas complex. R&M fields are situated approximately 220km off the coast of Bintulu. The project comprises a remotely operated offshore platform and onshore gas plant, with infrastructure that includes one of the longest sour wet gas offshore pipelines in the world stretching more than 200km. R&M will be mainly powered by renewable energy; utilizing solar power offshore and hydroelectric power onshore. 
**Accountabilities**
R&M OGP HSSE Management System
+ Relentless pursuit of Goal zero target with no harm to people (Personal Safety) and no Leak (Process Safety)
+ Carry out duties as site emergency response team member during drills and emergencies
+ Carry out audits of worksites including pro active safe behavior and document findings
+ Completes Front-Line Barrier Management competence requirements in time for start-up of the R&M facility.
Technical
Able to lead other technicians to manage processes for high H2S acid gas removal, stabilization, sulphur recovery/palletization, and MEG system for export of sweet gas and sulphur to customers. Tasks includes but not limited to:- 
+ Work and interact with Process Team Leads, OR&A Engineers and Vendors to assist in detailed design, commissioning and operations for the systems including sub systems and interfaces to gain technical and operational knowledge of the plant and equipment
+ Monitor, track and maintain the operations of the plant within their operating envelopes
+ Identify, troubleshoots and normalize any abnormal operating and equipment conditions effectively and efficiently to minimize safety risks, economic losses including emissions control equipment and adjust it to meet State and Federal allowable limits
+ To identify, analyze and recommend changes to improve overall plant reliability, performance and output
+ Knowledge of generating unit operation, engineering, or maintenance practices
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams, procedures and technical manuals
+ Knowledge of DCS and PLC ladder logic
+ Running trends to proactively diagnose potential issues
+ Knowledge of principles and operations of plant equipments
+ Knowledge of P&ID's, single line diagrams, schematics and logic's
+ Provide support for follow up on audits closure items and deviation control
+ Provide input into the weekly scheduling meeting, ensuring Process OT are able to carry out activities
+ Control and monitor downtime and turnaround of Critical Process Equipment service/repairs and spares diligently

+ **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Perform evaluations and/or analyze unique problems that are new to equipment.- Perform predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures and determining adjustments and repairs that need to be made.- Perform training as needed to Lower-level Maintenance Techs on troubleshooting and repair techniques utilized with equipment- Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment downtime.- Monitor equipment operations to ensure proper usage.- Construct and/or assemble new equipment.- Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed.- Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment down-time.- Perform Lock Out / Tag Out requirements.- Help repairing on hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems.- Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business conditions or changes.- Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.- Analyze and improve existing products, equipment, processes as assigned.- Develop manufacturing methods and processes in the production of components and methods to reduce manufacturing costs.- Investigate, establish and implement requirements for equipment, tooling, and methods of manufacturing.- Participate in cost reduction and cost of quality programs.- Assist manufacturing engineer in solving production constraints.- Support production through independent review, root cause analysis, corrective action, discrepancy handling, and defect prevention. **REQUIREMENTS** - Good communication skills, both oral and written.- Ability to work independently.- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.- Must have good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality of work.- Strong practical technical ability.- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE** - Associate Diploma in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.- 5+ years of experience in injection molding maintenance, or mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical repair.
