We are looking for a highly experienced **Senior Engineer** specializing in **Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA)** to drive and execute process improvements with a **strong focus on New Product Introduction (NPI)** , preferably from **High-Mix Low-Volume (HMLV) manufacturing environments.**

**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
**Manufacturing Process Engineering & NPI Execution**
+ Drive the technical execution of end-to-end NPI activities for PCBA, ensuring a robust and smooth transition from design to mass production.
+ Collaborate closely with the Internal DFM team, customers, manufacturing peers, and suppliers to ensure all DFM/DFT (Design for Manufacturing/Test) requirements are defined, met, and successfully implemented.
+ Apply advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical challenges and production bottlenecks during prototyping, pilot runs, and production ramp-up.
**High-Mix Low-Volume (HMLV) Process Expertise**
+ Technically own and optimize PCBA processes for HMLV environments, ensuring maximum flexibility, high uptime, and efficiency.
+ Execute technical tasks related to BOM scrubbing, component obsolescence resolution, and alternate component qualification.
+ Partner with the internal equipment team to define, implement, and qualify processes that enable quick changeovers and minimal equipment downtime.
**Yield & Quality Improvement**
+ Develop, implement, and qualify technical process improvements such as PFMEA, poka-yoke mechanisms, and custom tooling (Jigs/fixtures) to achieve world-class first-pass yield.
+ Lead and execute deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex PCBA failures and drive the implementation of robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
+ Establish, monitor, and report on key process and quality metrics, and champion continuous improvement initiatives utilizing methodologies like Six Sigma and Lean.
**Cost-Saving & Lean Initiatives**
+ Identify, champion, and technically execute cost-reduction opportunities in material, process, and overhead areas without compromising quality or reliability.
+ Implement Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping) to eliminate process waste within PCBA production lines.
+ Optimize process yield to significantly reduce bonepile/scrap inventory, directly supporting HMLV inventory management goals.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration & Technical Communication**
+ Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert for PCBA processes within the organization.
+ Work closely with Test Engineering, Operations (Production), and QA teams to ensure process robustness, control, and product reliability.
+ Prepare and present technical data, project status, and key process findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**
**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
+ 5+ years of hands-on, progressive experience in PCBA manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI).
+ Proven track record of technical execution in HMLV manufacturing, yield improvement, and cost reduction.
+ Expert-level, practical working knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7351) and all aspects of the PCBA assembly process (Stencil Printing, SMT, Reflow, Wave, Selective Soldering, AOI/AXI).
+ Demonstrated proficiency in applying methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen to solve complex technical problems.

**2. Assembly Tool, Fixture and Equipment Development**
(i) Evaluate new tool, fixture, and equipment demand/cost for new projects.
(ii) Design and review the tool, fixture and equipment with core team members meeting TE engineering and EHS requirement.
(iii) Upload all tooling prints to TE data management system(DM.TEC, PDMLink, etc.)
(iv) Discuss and review details of tool/fixture/equipment with outside supplier.
(v) Follow up the purchasing process to fabricate new tool/fixture/equipment.
**3. Qualification for Manufacturing process, Tool, Fixture, and Equipment**
(i) Condition all tool, fixture and equipment, lead the tool/fixture/equipment qualification by running samples or LVM.
(ii) Follow up the documentations for qualification, using TE standard format and follow up the approval.
(iii) Coordinate pilot run for new products and solve engineering issues, make sure the manufacturing process capability meet engineering, quality and customer requirement.
**4. Technician Guidance**
Coach, train and develop operator and technician in order to ensure their technique could be succeed and get continuous upgraded.

**Job Summary:**
As a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer, you will have the responsibility for uptime and performance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and support areas. The candidate will be given the opportunity to work with the technical support groups to identify, lead, and implement creative solutions to improve equipment performance and reduce cost. The candidate will manage new equipment installs by coordinating tasks with various groups to ensure an on time, on budget, and qualified tool to release to production. This position will be responsible for CVD equipment in fab for SACVD, PECVD, and LPCVD processes.
In the first 3 months you will:
- Develop a basic understanding of the manufacturing and support systems and site culture.
- Begin to identify, and work with leadership to prioritize, opportunities for improvement in the CVD area.
- Demonstrate an understanding of current practices and specifications and develop an actionable plan for continuous improvement, yield improvement, cost savings, projects, etc.
- Develop and implement a migration strategy from preventive to predictive maintenance

Develops and modifies process formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards. Typically performs one or more of the following in the capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently) or as a manager:
+ Create, analyze, and review technical charts.
+ Develop and modify process formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards.
+ Establish SOP (Standard operating process) and FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) for related process.
+ Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.
+ Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications.
+ Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to improve process performance indices.
+ Work with cross functions teams to deliver organizational goals.
+ Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
+ Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed.
+ Shows mastery of some aspects of a technical discipline, with recognition for his/her contributions as a technical team member.
+ Initiative and creativity are exercised within limits defined by job scope.
+ Uses standard engineering methods to analyze and resolve problems.
+ Works on projects, assignments, and problems of moderate scope.
+ Coaches' students.
+ Participates in teams.
