Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in the Backend Process.
- Provide manufacturing and equipment support in a rapidly changing development and high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to schematics, manuals, or specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment.
- Resolve non-standard problems independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Manage own activities and support team activities as a self-starter.
- Collaborate with Engineering on new equipment installations and improvements.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PC software/hardware issues.
- Ability to read schematics, use hand tools, electrical gauges, and test equipment.
- Understanding of PLC systems and vision systems (an advantage).
- Attention to detail, troubleshooting methodology, and project management skills.
- Leadership qualities for training and mentoring technicians.
- Experience with Auto VMI, Auto Labeling, and Auto Packing equipment/processes (preferred).
Skills

The Backend Equipment Technician performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in Backend Process.
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provides manufacturing and equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.
- Performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment.

**Job Description**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Be responsible for Wafer sort equipment day to day line sustaining, prober card maintenance, PM and conversion
+ Able to hands on and provide systematic problem analysis
+ Ability to troubleshoot, analyze complex problems and 5 why analysis
+ Be available for overtime work when needed
+ Experience in PM and major down troubleshooting
+ Responsible to liaise with process engineering team for low yield triggering
**Qualifications**
REQUIRED:
+ Certificate / Diploma in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronic or Equivalent
+ 1~3 years of equipment engineering experience in Wafer soft test equipment maintenance
PREFERRED:
+ Knowledge in Memory tester, prober, probe card maintenance will be added advantage
+ Wafer sort equipment maintenance and troubleshooting skill, wafer handling skill and involve in some improvement project
SKILLS:
+ Able to do troubleshooting and maintenance at Wafer sort equipment, hands on and provide systematic problem analysis
+ Able to perform Preventive maintenance, conversion. and quality improvement projects

Backend Equipment Technician perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in Backend Process.
+ Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in backend Process.
+ Provides Manufacturing and Equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high volume manufacturing environment.
+ Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.
+ Performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment.
+ Resolves non-standard problems, works with minimal supervision, and can adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
+ Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities.
+ Works with Engineering to support new equipment installations and improvement initiatives.
**Qualifications**
REQUIRED:
+ Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics
PREFERRED:
+ Proficient at troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PC software/hardware related issues
