We are looking for a proactive Assembly Operator for our newly established assembly factory in Seremban - Sendayan Techvalley for the underground load & haul equipment.

In this position you are primarily responsible for assembly operation (technical – electrical, mechanical), including preparation to the production requirement. Primary focus working areas:
- Wire, assemble and install electrical & electronic components according to specification
- Assembly of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components for heavy machineries according to assembly drawings, specifications, and work instruction
- Examine products / machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems
- Identify and conduct minor repair to mechanical components
- Able to read & understand electrical & mechanical terminology, drawings, and hydraulic diagram
- Wire, assemble and install electrical & electronic components according to specification
- Able to read and interpret electrical drawing and experience in panel and circuit wiring
- Conduct minor inspection on mechanical & electrical components during assembly
- Familiar with and able to use electrical & mechanical assembly tools
- Ensure Sandvik Way of Working procedures are in place and always adhered to
- Has user level experience with ERP system and MS office applications is seen as advantage
- Teamwork skills, disciplined, proactive approach to work and readiness to work in shifts
- Meticulous to quality requirement and EHS procedures
- Battery operations / technology background considered an advantage

As a person you have excellent communication skills, able to follow instructions and deliver as required, work in a team and independent with minimum supervision, fluently speak English with a minimum 5 years of experience in heavy machineries assembly or equivalent, certificate from technical & vocational institutions, forklift, lift-truck, over-head cranes operation & safety licenses.

- Perform offline preparation to support generator assembly line (lead shielding, stamping lead coat & lead plate, housing assembly & inspection, lacing assembly)
- Perform oil filing (oil line filter assembly, oil cooler, oil filing, oil cleaning, oil cooler assembly, expansion tank assembly, operate Mica fluid Oil purification system, electrical safety test & leakage test for oil cooler).
- Perform inner assembly for HR12 & HR14 (heating transformer assembly, anode assembly, cathode assembly, complete assembly).
- Perform external assembly for HR12 & HR14 (set assembly & ATU assembly).
- IMS
- Perform assembly process for all IMS products (wash & bake, swab assembly, pen assembly, token assembly, condenser assembly, calibrant assembly, reactant assembly, membrane assembly).
- Perform QC testing for all IMS products (cleanliness & sensitivity).
- GENERAL
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with safety and quality protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities related to production efficiency and quality.

Education:
