Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines, utilities, and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Monitor machine performance and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new machines, jigs, and tools.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities according to the maintenance plan.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, spare parts usage, and machine history in CMMS/ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards in all maintenance activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, TPM, Lean Manufacturing) to enhance machine reliability and productivity.
- Liaise with production, engineering, and quality departments to address equipment-related issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or servicing work.
- Assist in cost control by monitoring spare parts inventory and suggesting cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
- Fresh graduates (Assistant level) or experienced candidates (Executive level) are encouraged to apply.
- Hands-on knowledge of PLC, robotics, CNC, or automation systems is an added advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
