Responsibilities :

• Assist in managing the central workshop and lead the maintenance team to perform maintenance and reliability-related functions in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Support and perform maintenance functions in a timely and cost-effective manner. It is achieved by:
• Supporting turnaround management.
• Introducing and implementing new and effective maintenance skills.
• Originating and developing analysis methods for determining maintenance demands for components, equipment, and processes.
• Acquiring maintenance data and analyzing data, avoiding maintenance delay and making recommendations for improvements.
• Conducting analysis of maintenance-related problems and investigating to determine outage requirements, considering cost limitations for equipment downtime, repair/replacement costs, weight, size, and availability of materials/equipment. Determine the cost advantages of alternatives for developing action plans to comply with demands for timely repair of processes/equipment.

To support Central Workshop management by:

• Improve, upgrade, and maintain workshop facilities and management.
• Guide supervisors and mechanical technicians in performing their tasks and responsibilities; establish good maintenance practices.

To support reliability-related functions by:

• Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and prevent recurrence of failures.
• Set up a lesson-learning/sharing database for operation and maintenance personnel.

To improve maintenance personnel skills at a high level of safety, competency, quality, and reliability by:

• Develop, establish and execute the training plan for maintenance supervisors and mechanical maintenance technicians.
• Conduct training and proficiency tests for maintenance personnel.
• Establish a maintenance management system for supervisors to perform major and critical maintenance activities.

Required qualifications/experience

• Bachelors/Master’s in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the fields of operation and maintenance of chemical industrial gases or manufacturing setup.

• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and oversee all maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for plant equipment, including pumps, motors, compressors, boilers, and instrumentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and reliability engineering, preferably in biodiesel, oleochemical, petrochemical, or refinery plants
• Strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance, RCA, and FMEA
• Hands-on experience with CMMS software (SAP)
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with plant utilities such as boilers, compressors, pumps, and rotating equipment
• Willing to work in Port Dickson and travel when required

Job Title: Die Attach Engineer

Job Overview :

The Die Attach Engineer plays a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the smooth operation of process and adherence to production standards. The role involves hands-on work with advanced machinery in a cleanroom environment and requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Work with all the teams to meet customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Hand on setup the equipment and process during engineering activities such as engineering evaluations.
• Evaluation report compilation and initial data analysis.
• Support Yield & Quality KPI improvement.
• Monitoring on hold lot disposition and provide communication with engineer in order to not impact daily assembly output.
• Maintain all housekeeping / 5s engineering station and tooling’s, to ensure compliance to safety rules.
• Monitor all processes, resolve all products issues and coordinate with production and equipment to reduce downtime and getting better product quality.
• Minor equipment programming and setup for manufacturing to ensure product specifications are met.
• Attends product quality issue and assist MS support lot disposition. Carry out product quality issues investigation and prelim report findings.
• Able to perform incident root cause troubleshooting, analysis.
• Other duties assigned by superior.

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in relevant fields.
• Familiar with equipment operation and know basic maintenance of production equipment/machine.
• Experience in Die Attach Process.
• Have equipment or process programming knowledge background.
• Basic communication skills and good learning and feedback ability.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned by the supervisor.

He is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of mobile water treatment systems. This includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and supporting the mobilization and deployment of assets. The role involves managing spare parts inventory, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and maintaining detailed maintenance logs and reports. By optimizing system performance and minimizing downtime, he ensures that MWS fleets are reliable, functional, and ready for deployment, providing critical support to both internal teams and external clients.

TASK

Technical

• Basic knowledge of the technical and process function of each of the MWS fleets.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unexpected breakdowns.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and replace worn-out components before failure.
• Work with sensors, transmitters, and control loops to ensure process stability.

Management

• Ensuring the mobile fleets are in a state of readiness at all times. This includes FAT testing, maintaining equipment using maintenance schedules, ensuring all units are roadworthy and stored safely.
• Developing time based asset routines for all the mobile fleets, developing maintenance procedures such as changing media, RO membranes cleaning and preservation & etc
• Identify all consumables and enable the equipment required for projects and fleet maintenance, ensuring adequate stocks of essential spares and consumables such as resins, media, cartridges and bag filters.
• Verify that spare parts and consumables meet OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and equipment manuals.
• Spare parts and inventory management by tracking critical spare parts availability to avoid downtime.
• Coordinating with the resin regeneration facility ensuring the regeneration process is always completed with the required quality parameters.
• Ensuring all assets are kept in a safe condition, proper storage area for main assets, shelved area for ancillaries and hoses.
• Ensuring our facility has sufficient handling equipment such as forklift, pallet truck, proper maintenance tools
• Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to prevent equipment hazards during maintenance.
• Assisting with auditing, particularly of on site activities such as Mobile SOS program if the site engineer is not available.

Safety

• Developing risk assessments for the deployment of mobile assets
• Developing fire safety, chemical safety, spill response and CSDS
• Assist in ensuring that subcontractors are H&S approved and operate according to plans.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards.
• Ensuring workplace safety by implementing and adhering to best practices that minimize risks and hazards

Quality

• Maintaining equipment reliability, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Education

• Minimum Degree Holder in Science/Engineering

Others (License/Certificates)

• Driving license is required

EXPERIENCE EXPECTED

• 2-3 year(s) of hands-on experience in maintenance focus on mechanical, electrical and instrumentation
