Responsibilities- Support the production team to achieve goals in material and tool readiness, utilization, and reduction of stoppage time.
- Follow equipment specifications for tool/peripheral design, condition verification, and calibration.
- Provide inline shift support to ensure smooth production and maintain equipment performance in terms of quality, yield, cost, utilization, and cycle time.
- Implement proactive and autonomous maintenance plans, carry out regular maintenance, and enhance equipment capability through continuous improvement.
- Provide MES/system support to ensure seamless production lot movement.
- Manage peripheral/tools storage and inventory control effectively.
- Perform industrial engineering activities such as time studies, cycle time analysis, and equipment relocation.
- Ensure strong discipline, compliance, and attendance on the production floor.
- Undertake other duties as assigned from time to time.
- Diploma in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.

- Provide technical training and certification for junior technician.
- Support Tool Owner and Equipment Engineer for machine conversion/upgrade and improvement projects.
REQUIRED:
- Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent
- Working experience in manufacturing environment (especially in vacuum chamber system) is required.
- Working experiences in sputtering or machine maintenance related field would be an added advantage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Set up and troubleshoot major downtime issues for test equipment, including Testcell, Tester, Bagger, VDCS, and Conveyor systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Testcell yield issues to maintain product quality and throughput.
- Conduct investigations for quality incidents related to test equipment and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Perform product conversions on test equipment to support various production requirements.
- Monitor key process input variables (KPIVs) using tools such as the KPOV database, OEE tracking, Maintenance Logs, and the Digital Preventive Maintenance system.
- Drive and support equipment upgrade and continuous improvement projects to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Act as an upskilling trainer for test equipment, providing technical training and guidance to team members.
- Perform equipment checklists in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Assist engineers with daily tasks and contribute to special projects as required.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and documentation practices.
- Adhere strictly to all safety rules and cleanroom protocols.
REQUIRED:
- Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field).
- 4-5 years’ working experience in a manufacturing environment , preferably in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems (motors, bearings, gears, conveyors, pumps, compressors) and electrical systems (AC/DC, three-phase, sensors, relays, drives).
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems , including valves, cylinders, and pressure controls.

Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Job Description:
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will maintain tools on a media manufacturing production line. You should work independently, take initiative, collaborate well, and be willing to learn. Flexibility to work 12-hour AWS shifts and overtime is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance according to the schedule, document checks, and maintain records.
- Inspect and service production equipment to ensure optimal performance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
- Support process improvements, provide technical training, and assist with machine upgrades and projects.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing, especially with vacuum chamber systems.
- Knowledge of control systems, PLCs, measurement tools, and troubleshooting schematics.
- Proficiency in MS Office and good communication skills.
Skills:
- Experience with sputtering or vacuum systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, safety awareness, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
