Responsibility
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities for molding machines, robotic arms, chillers, dryers, conveyors, and other peripheral equipment to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults affecting molding machine performance.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for machine failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain and calibrate molding machine sensors, temperature controllers, and pressure regulators to ensure product consistency and process repeatability.
- Ensure critical spare parts availability through proper inventory management and initiate procurement when required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records, including machine history, breakdowns, repairs, and parts usage.Assist in the installation, commissioning, and validation of new molding machines and automation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, tooling, QA) to support process improvement and troubleshoot recurring production issues.
- Monitor and report on key machine performance metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
- Lead and participate in improvement initiatives including TPM, Kaizen events, and energy-saving projects.
- Ensure all maintenance work adheres to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on machine care and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct periodic equipment audits and risk assessments to proactively identify potential failure points.

Experience / Skill Required
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in maintaining plastic injection molding machines.
- Strong technical knowledge in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical assembly, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiar with PLC-based machine control systems and automation interfaces (basic level).
- Skilled in reading mechanical and electrical schematics.
