Job Description

Lead and oversee the overall management of inventory, including planning, monitoring, and conducting regular inventory analysis to ensure optimal stock levels.

Review and approve inter-branch parts transfer orders, ensuring stock sufficiency across all locations while preventing overstock situations.

Coordinate closely with the warehouse team to optimize storage space utilization and improve operational efficiency.

Plan, supervise, and review regular stock checks for central and branch warehouses; lead the investigation of discrepancies and implement effective corrective actions.

Develop procurement and promotional strategies for lubricants and parts, ensuring alignment with market demand and company objectives.

Support and propose continuous improvement initiatives throughdataanalysis.

Other ad hoc task assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or sales coordination, preferably in the automotive/heavy machinery industry.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise cross-functional teams and coordinate multi-branch operations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a track record of driving efficiency and performance improvements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Chinese, English, and Malay (both spoken and written).

High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Willingness to travel for outstation assignmentsasrequired.

This role involves end-to-end solution development, stakeholder collaboration, system integration, and mentoring junior team members.

  • Solution Design & Configuration
  • Lead the design, customization, and configuration of SAP EWM to meet business needs.
  • Develop innovative warehouse management application solutions that enhance efficiency, inventory control, and automation.
  • Align SAP EWM functionalities with overall supply chain processes.
  • Testing & Deployment
  • Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, UAT) of SAP EWM functionalities and ensure deployment readiness.
  • Validate solutions against functional requirements and address issues through root cause analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with stakeholders across warehousing, logistics, IT, and procurement to gather requirements and deliver SAP EWM solutions.
  • Provide technical insights and functional expertise in cross-module processes involving MM, SD, and TM.
  • Continuous Improvement & Optimization
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to drive operational excellence.
  • Stay updated with SAP EWM innovations, industry trends, and best practices to improve system capabilities.

  • Manage interfaces and integrations with ERP, third-party logistics (3PL), automation systems, and RF (Radio Frequency) devices.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and process synchronization between SAP EWM and core SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
  • Mentor junior consultants and provide guidance on SAP EWM best practices, configurations, and documentation standards.

  • Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.

    The Position

    Role Purpose
    As the Supply Chain Lead, you will be the End to end accountable person for the availability of supply in the Malaysia market and subsequently the availability of goods to our end customers.
    You will be the single touch point to our 3PL partner, to ensure our 3PL perform their duties as per Roche’s expectations; while ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.
    In this position, you will be in a key role to help shape and enable the RDMY strategy, and contribute to the overall Roche Diagnostics vision of upholding after sales customers satisfaction. You will also drive projects and initiative that will improve E2E Supply Chain processes in RDMY.

    In this role, you will

    • Be responsible for high quality of Supply Chain service to our customers, both
    • internal and external
    • Ensure execution of tasks of the Supply Chain process are fully monitored and
    • controlled
    • Oversee the quantities to be ordered with the Demand Planning Partner to determine how much is to be imported each month, with educated input from Sales and Marketing team
    • Purchases forecast to be imported every month based on historical sales and the stock availability as well as following ordering schedule of Mannheim
    • Drive S&OP Processes to surface issues faced by Sales team, and pro-actively solve them
    • Stock taking at warehouse to ensure book & physical stock reconciliation at least 2x/year
    • Take proactive approach in optimizing stock levels and minimize write-offs resulting from expired/overstocking
    • Manage bottleneck/supply issues with customers by managing customers’
    • expectations and deciding stock allocation in the market
    • Challenge and work closely with 3PL partner to ensure fulfilment of duties
    • Ensure implementation/improvement plans internally within SCM and with 3PLs are tracked and monitored
    • Roll out projects and drive uptake/implementation from customers and obtain buy in from internal stakeholders
    • Any other tasks or projects as assigned from time to time
