Job Title: Logistic Analyst
How You Will Make a Difference
What you will do:
- Drive operations execution and transformation as part of VF Asia, working closely with Global Sourcing, Planning, Supply Chain, and Brands across VF.
- Support daily oversight and execution of the movement of VF Finished Goods, coordinating with Logistics Service Providers to ensure delivery against KPIs such as booking timeliness, cargo release, origin dwell, and system updates.
- Manage the movement of finished goods and raw materials from all Asia origins to global destinations, including VF distribution centers and customer direct shipments, handling approximately 25,000+ containers and 15 million kgs of air cargo annually.
- Assist the Logistics Operations Manager in developing the logistics and trade compliance teams in Malaysia in terms of capacity and scale.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Design and implement daily processes for origin and outbound product flow from Asia, focusing on cost reduction, cross-country consolidation, business analysis, and leveraging logistics technology.
- Build collaborative relationships with Global Sourcing, Logistics, and Brand teams to optimize product movement.
- Maintain relationships with external partners, 3PLs, and transportation vendors to ensure effective procedures and compliance.
- Drive logistics partners to meet high standards of delivery, ensuring timely and cost-efficient movement of goods.
- Lead regular operations meetings with logistics partners to review KPIs, resolve issues, and plan strategies.
- Propose improvements to logistics systems to support digital visibility platforms.
- Enforce standards and procedures for origin logistics, including trade compliance and vendor management.
- Collaborate with the Global Trade Compliance Team to ensure documentation and customs compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure shipment and transportation compliance.
- Contribute to resolving business practices to improve transportation and logistics performance in the Asia Pacific region.
- Optimize KPI management and product flow, collaborating with partners across regions.
- Promote a collaborative and positive team environment, leveraging logistics insights to improve supply chain performance.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- Proven experience in international logistics operations (air, ocean, 3PL).
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and systems skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus.

- Work with 3PL’s on day-to-day enquiries
- Any adhoc duties that may be required by manager
Identify the specific skills needed to perform this job effectively
- Familiarity with SAP
- Microsoft tools
- Advanced knowledge in Excel – highly regarded

+ The Operations analyst will be part of a team that drives daily oversight and execution of the movement of VF Finished Goods, working across multiple Logistics Service Providers ensuring best in class delivery against our agreed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) - such as booking timeliness, cargo release timeliness, origin dwell, systems update etc.
+ A key member of an operations team who drives the movement of finished goods & raw materials from all Asia origins to the rest of the world including VF DC's and customer directs for ~25,000+ containers and 15M kgs. air cargo annually.
+ The Logistics Analyst will support the Logistics Operations Manager in the evolution of the logistics & trade compliance teams in Malaysia in terms of capability and scale.
**_Principal Accountabilities:_**
+ Actively contribute to the design and implementation of the daily processes for all origin and outbound product flow from Asia, keeping in mind

+ Responsible for enforcing control-related standards and procedures for all origin logistics, raw materials & finished products to maximize efficiency, including Trade Compliance management and the Vendor compliance program; includes managing our origin Logistics Data Analytics team to drive standardized process controls, reports & metrics.
+ Continuously and consistently enforce controls aimed to improve our Vendor (Supplier) shipping activities, including but not limited to education, measurement and metrics monitoring, coaching, site visits.
+ Collaboration with our Global Trade Compliance Team to ensure the highest standard of document and customs compliance are understood, and corresponding controls in place.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Vendors, to ensure we have the appropriate level of focus and compliance to VF policies relating to shipment and transportation.

+ Driving the operations execution and transformation as part of our VF Asia business and will work closely with our Global Sourcing, Planning, Supply Chain and Brands across VF.
