List the primary tasks or activities this job performs

• Monitor Inventory Levels, DOH, Obsolescence and Scrapping
• Track, monitor and maintain inbound Shipments from Supplier to 3PL
• Maintain arrival dates in SAP and associated reports
• Support all activities and documentation for Customs Clearance
• Assist with IDOC failures reports and solve issues
• Validate 3PL and Transport Invoices for Accounts Payable
• Maintain PO creation and Invoice Payment of Logistics Service Providers
• Work with 3PL’s on day-to-day enquiries
• Any adhoc duties that may be required by manager
  
  

Minimum Skills Required

Identify the specific skills needed to perform this job effectively

• Familiarity with SAP
• Microsoft tools
• Advanced knowledge in Excel – highly regarded
  
  

Knowledge / Education Required

+ Driving the operations execution and transformation as part of our VF Asia business and will work closely with our Global Sourcing, Planning, Supply Chain and Brands across VF.
+ The Operations analyst will be part of a team that drives daily oversight and execution of the movement of VF Finished Goods, working across multiple Logistics Service Providers ensuring best in class delivery against our agreed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) - such as booking timeliness, cargo release timeliness, origin dwell, systems update etc.
+ A key member of an operations team who drives the movement of finished goods & raw materials from all Asia origins to the rest of the world including VF DC's and customer directs for ~25,000+ containers and 15M kgs. air cargo annually.
+ The Logistics Analyst will support the Logistics Operations Manager in the evolution of the logistics & trade compliance teams in Malaysia in terms of capability and scale.
**_Principal Accountabilities:_**
+ Actively contribute to the design and implementation of the daily processes for all origin and outbound product flow from Asia, keeping in mind
+ cost reduction initiatives,
+ cross-country and multi-country consolidation,
+ analysis of ongoing and forecast business,

+ Build and develop collaborative partnerships with Global Sourcing, Global Logistics and Brand to meet overall brand/business needs by analyzing, developing, and implementing effective and efficient movement of product.
+ Support the maintenance of relationships with external partners, 3PL's and transportation vendors to ensure effective and proper procedures and processes are executed to meet the needs of the business.
+ Responsible for driving Logistics Partners to execute to the highest standards of delivery, ensuring timely and cost-efficient movement of VF Finished Goods and Raw Materials
+ Host and drive regular operations meetings with Logistics Partners, ensuring highest KPI (Key Performance Indicator) attainment, problem identification and resolution and planning future strategies and actions.
+ Utilize and where appropriate propose improvements for all logistics systems activities to properly support the digital platform to provide timely and accurate visibility to all functional teams including Sourcing, Customs, Finance, Fulfillment & Customer Service
+ Responsible for enforcing control-related standards and procedures for all origin logistics, raw materials & finished products to maximize efficiency, including Trade Compliance management and the Vendor compliance program; includes managing our origin Logistics Data Analytics team to drive standardized process controls, reports & metrics.
+ Continuously and consistently enforce controls aimed to improve our Vendor (Supplier) shipping activities, including but not limited to education, measurement and metrics monitoring, coaching, site visits.
+ Collaboration with our Global Trade Compliance Team to ensure the highest standard of document and customs compliance are understood, and corresponding controls in place.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Vendors, to ensure we have the appropriate level of focus and compliance to VF policies relating to shipment and transportation.

+ Responsible for enforcing control-related standards and procedures for all origin logistics, raw materials & finished products to maximize efficiency, including Trade Compliance management and the Vendor compliance program; includes managing our origin Logistics Data Analytics team to drive standardized process controls, reports & metrics.
+ Continuously and consistently enforce controls aimed to improve our Vendor (Supplier) shipping activities, including but not limited to education, measurement and metrics monitoring, coaching, site visits.
+ Collaboration with our Global Trade Compliance Team to ensure the highest standard of document and customs compliance are understood, and corresponding controls in place.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Vendors, to ensure we have the appropriate level of focus and compliance to VF policies relating to shipment and transportation.
+ Participate in the resolution of our business practices enabling change and improved performance for transportation, factories, and logistics for the Asia Pacific region.
+ Strive to overcome challenges in optimizing KPI management and drive optimized product flow, efficient carrier network and timely flow of all import documents to yield desired on time performance by collaborating with all partners, Central Procurement & Inbound teams from NORA, EMEA & APAC.
+ Serve as a dynamic and visible partner who positively impacts collaboration and cooperation for team and cross functional peers.
+ Be a role model for both Logistics and cross-functional partners, demonstrating ways to leverage logistics insights to drive improvement across the supply chain.
**Knowledge & Skill Requirements**
+ Proven experience in international logistics operations in air, ocean and 3PL environment
+ Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
+ Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or related area preferred or equivalent work experience.
+ Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and systems knowledge.
+ Excellent Communication skills in English (writing and speaking) and computer skills. (Mandarin a plus)

Role Summary

The Supply Planning & Logistics Analyst is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of finished goods through effective coordination with procurement, suppliers, and warehouse teams.
