Role Summary
The Supply Planning & Logistics Analyst is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of finished goods through effective coordination with procurement, suppliers, and warehouse teams. This role plays a critical part in maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing supply risks, and supporting product launches while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate closely with procurement, supplier, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of finished goods.
Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock without overstocking or risking shortages.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations regarding chemical storage and transport.
Work with procurement to manage supplier lead times and MOQs to optimize inbound material flows.
Manage planning parameters in the ERP system including safety stock levels and MRP type.
Identify and mitigate supply risks, such as delays in chemical imports, packaging shortages, or plant downtime.
Generate weekly reports on supply status, inventory health, and service level KPIs.
Support new product launches and cleaning chemical formula changes by aligning material availability.
Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely dispatch of goods to customers and distributors.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in supply planning, logistics, or inventory management.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Understanding of chemical industry logistics and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Experience with MRP planning and inventory optimization techniques.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards related to chemical storage and transport.

The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain will provide operational support for business planning processes for Greater Asia Pacific countries. This role supports all functions of the supply chain including demand/supply planning, inventory management, production scheduling, quality control, purchasing, transportation, distribution and customer service.
The primary function of this position is to plan and schedule supply replenishment activities based on forecasted demand, current inventory levels and capacity constraints. This involves working closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality Control, Purchasing, Transportation & Distribution teams to ensure smooth flow of goods through the entire value stream.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement efficient solutions to meet customer requirements while minimizing costs.
• Developing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste throughout the supply chain.
• Identifying areas where improvements can be made to increase productivity or reduce cost.
• Providing analysis and recommendations related to inventory management, production scheduling, logistics and warehousing.

Job DescriptionOversee delivery performance, compliance, and escalations relating to Logistics Service Providers for Warehousing, Freight, and Packaging. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews, monitor KPIs, and ensure services are delivered as per contract.
Lead and shipping operations team managing all aspects of outbound shipment and Logistics coordination. Assure that all shipping orders are completed and shipping is made on-time to satisfy customer requirements. Keep up with all paper work and documentation on the daily basis of all shipping and receiving, and assure posting of all activities into SAP.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Person in Charge for day-to-day operations and escalations relating to packaging, warehousing, and logistics
- Lead monthly operational reviews and quarterly Business Reviews with key vendors
- Lead Transportation Management System adoption, compliance, and process development for the site
- Work with factory stakeholders to ensure shipping team delivers timely Preparation of Delivery Notes, Packing List, Customs Invoices, and Picking List for outbound deliveries and co-ordinate collection with regional sales teams.
- Work actively with internal and external stakeholders, escalating where necessary or appropriate, to remove roadblocks preventing shipment of finished goods.
- Work with freight forwarders to ensure booking confirmations are made on time and be main point of contact for support with shipment obstacles. Assure that all shipping orders are completed and shipping is made on-time to satisfy customer requirements.
- Monitor and ensure that AELB permit applied and received for Xray Machines before shipment out of SDM.
- Implement efficient warehousing and storage practices to minimize damage, loss, and spoilage of finished goods.
- Accountable for cycle counting activities and inventory accuracy in Raw Material and Finished Good Storage Locations.
- Oversee coordination with 3PL Warehouse team to ensure effective transfer and consolidation of accessories with finished goods shipments.
- Work closely with local and regional Trade Compliance stakeholders to ensure inbound and outbound compliance.
- Work closely with Factory Planning team to provide workload forecast to packaging subcontractor.
- Responsible for tendering, award, and invoice validation of outbound freight shipments.
- Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.
- Drive improvement by promoting best practice and process excellence in SDM shipping department.
Education:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant professional certifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Shipping, or Operations environment; experience in shipping would be advantageous
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in international logistics environment
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills ensuring processes are adhered to.
- Strong knowledge of import and export compliance regulations in Malaysia
- Strong understanding of Incoterms
- Good working knowledge of SAP

Responsibilities
Supply Chain
- Leads, or contributes to, the design and execution of end-to-end supply chain solutions and strategy including planning, material information and financial flows, manufacturing and logistics.
- Leads or participates in multi-function supply chain projects with an emphasis on project planning, supply chain modeling/analysis and optimization of cost, service and inventory.
- Participates in the design, development and implementation of end-to-end supply chain designs, strategies, models, processes, business intelligence and tools to support business growth.
- Identifies gaps and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.
- Works in conjunction with Information Technology partners to ensure system framework addresses business requirements.
- Implements, tests, troubleshoots and improves business systems to increase manufacturing quality, efficiency and volume.
Logistics
- Responsible for all activities involved in the management of product movement within the supply chain; ensures delivery of the right product to the right place at the right time for the right price.
- Key logistics activities include: physical distribution, which includes the movement and storage of finished goods, supplies and spare parts from manufacturing plants to warehouses to customers (typically includes warehousing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and localization); logistics network development/optimization, which includes network design, reverse logistics, modeling, duty elimination/reduction, order fulfillment cycle time management, cost analysis, system design; logistic services procurement, including contract management; supply chain management, postponement procurement, and order management.
- Designs and implements logistics strategies/processes in the areas of transportation, trade compliance, customs, physical distribution and/or supply chain management to support distribution of Keysight materials/products.
- Responsibilities may be at the site level, regional or global.
- May be responsible for logistics process design, support and ongoing improvement.
- May be responsible for program management, such as directing the work of third parties, including global vendor management, to meet contract specified deliverables, performance or business objectives, in the areas of process definition and implementation, alignment to Keysight business needs and performing audits.
Procurement
- Assures the procurement and inventory management of high technology or life sciences production and/or non-manufacturing materials, equipment and/or services in accordance with supply chain optimization and management objectives.
- Coordinates material sourcing for new product introduction (NPI) projects, in collaboration with R&D.
- Establishes and manages supplier relationships including negotiating contracts and prices, monitoring supplier performance, selecting/analyzing the supply base and developing and executing the commodity plans.
- May manage contract manufacturer (CM) or original design manufacturer (ODM) relationships to ensure inventory optimization.
- May be responsible for contributing to or leading process improvement efforts, such as in new product introduction (NPI), resourcing, cost reduction and/or quality.
- May have global responsibility and/or support multiple sites.
Works on supply chain/manufacturing logistics or global trade/procurement assignments with clearly defined objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
- No prior experience required; may have up to 2 years’ relevant experience.
