Job Description
Typical duties and responsibilities of a Manufacturing Supervisor include:
1.Overseeing the production process to ensure products are produced on time and are of good quality
2.Supervising and motivating a team of workers, which includes hiring, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution
3.Inspecting equipment and machinery regularly to ensure they are in good working order and arranging for maintenance and repairs as needed
4.Developing and implementing production schedules and deadlines
5.Maintaining safety standards and ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed
6.Working with other team leaders and managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
7.Reviewing worker performance and identifying training needs
8Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs
9.Coordinating with different departments, such as suppliers, managers, and customers
10.Compiling and presenting production reports to upper management
Responsibilities

Summary:
To lead the team in the factory. You will help manage daily production work, make sure safety rules are followed, keep track of materials and tools, and help keep the factory clean and running smoothly.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Production
- Supervising of production team in production processes and working environment safety management.
- Manage the productivity & efficiency of the production team and assist them to meet their working goals.
- Ensure that workers are in compliance with the safety rules and guidelines.
- Hygiene checks on factory working environment.
- Manage incoming shipment of materials to ensure proper receiving and accuracy of the materials quantity.
- Inventory management for machine spare parts and consumable inventory (for staff use).
- Procurement and tracking of factory consumables.
o Production teams productivity to the management.
o Materials shipment progress
2. Documentation, Policies & Training
- Production process documentation and filing.
- Liaised with the Safety and Environmental Committee on safety and environmental policies to ensure compliance with Malaysian laws and regulations, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994) and the Environmental Quality Act 1974 (EQA 1974).
- Training of workers on safety usage of equipment, PPEs and compliance with safety guidelines in the factory.
- Coordinated with the Competent Person/OSH Coordinator to organize safety and environmental training sessions and drills for staff.
- Applied safety and environmental policies, along with standard operating procedures (SOPs), to promote a safe working environment on the production floor while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Building Management
- Assist in review and plan factory lay-out.
- Support in Company including factory, lab and office facilities repair and maintenance.
4. Team Management
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback to improve productivity.
- Conduct regular team meetings to address safety, quality, and operational issues.
5. Administrative
- Address and resolve any Wi-Fi or connection issues as needed.
- Perform any additional duties as requested by management on an ad-hoc basis.
Job Qualifications:
- Diploma in Engineering or any equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum 2 years experience in performing planning, fabrication works in office and production area.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- Able to communicate and write with both English & Mandarin.
- Good problem-solving skills, positive working attitude and independent.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
