Key Responsibilities

  • Learning Program Design & Delivery
    • Design and deliver engaging learning programs covering technical skills (e.g., systems, tools, compliance) and soft skills (e.g., communication, leadership, collaboration).
    • Customize and/or develop learning content to suit different employee levels and functions based on the most effective learning methodologies and philosophy.
    • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions (when required) applying adult learning model and approaches.


  • Learning Needs Analysis
    • Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with business units and HRBPs.
    • Identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning interventions.
    • Support the development of learning paths and competency frameworks.


  • Learning Management & Administration
    • Manage learning activities through the Learning Management System (LMS), including scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
    • Coordinate with internal and external trainers, vendors, and subject matter experts.
    • Ensure training records and compliance requirements are maintained accurately.
    • Organize and manage training events, workshops, and seminars for employees
    • Selection and management of Learning partners and vendors on cost, content design and effectiveness of delivery.


  • Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using feedback, assessments, and performance data.
    • Recommend improvements to enhance learning outcomes and learner engagement.
    • Monitor learning KPIs and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
    • Manage learning budget and spending with regular reports for stakeholders


  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with functional, department heads and HR teams to align learning initiatives with business goals.
    • Support change management and employee development initiatives through learning.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.


  • Working Relationships
    • Internal: Regional Talent Management Specialist, HR Business Partners, Function & Department Heads, Employees
    • External: Training Vendors, Consultants, Learning Technology Providers
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Related Experience

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Good command of written and spoken English is must

Preferred Skills

Preferred Knowledge & Skills and/or Related Experience:

  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development.
  • Experience in both technical and soft-skill training design and delivery.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
  • Certification in instructional design, facilitation, or coaching is a plus.
  • Experience in the direct selling industry is highly desirable.

  6. Shared Services Center Learning Roadmap: Support the Shared Services learning roadmap for Kuala Lumpur.
  7. Management Reporting: Generate HRIS reports, conduct data analysis, and provide executive summaries for management reporting.
  8. Leadership Assessments: Manage the third-party assessment process, which will include initiating new requests, communication with internal stakeholders, and generating reports.
  9. Onboarding Program: Support the effective onboarding of all associates in Kuala Lumpur.
  10. Learning Management System (LMS): Assist with LMS requests and collaborate with the HR Shared Services organization on providing LMS support across the region.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?
  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of HR experience, which includes experience in Learning and Development.
  3. Prior experience facilitating training both in person and virtually.
  4. Fluency in English required, fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
  5. Prior experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred, experience with Workday Learning is a plus.
  6. Prior experience with leadership assessments is a plus.

Instructor Led Training:

Facilitation of learning and development programs related to business and leadership skills, which will include a combination of in-person and virtual delivery. Program Design:

Assist in the instructional design of new programs to meet business needs and employee development goals. Cross – Functional Partnerships:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including HRBPs and leaders. Collaborate closely to understand their specific development needs, provide strategic advice, and ensure the successful implementation of learning initiatives. E-Learning:

Promote E-learning content and create development tracks with LinkedIn Learning. Learning & Development Programs:

Assist with the annual planning process of gathering internal nominations, developing the annual calendar, and tracking of participants. Support the Americas Learning & Development Manager, Human Resources Business Partners, and Stakeholders with training coordination and logistics. Shared Services Center Learning Roadmap:

Support the Shared Services learning roadmap for Kuala Lumpur. Management Reporting:

Generate HRIS reports, conduct data analysis, and provide executive summaries for management reporting. Leadership Assessments:

Manage the third-party assessment process, which will include initiating new requests, communication with internal stakeholders, and generating reports. Onboarding Program:

Support the effective onboarding of all associates in Kuala Lumpur. Learning Management System (LMS):

Assist with LMS requests and collaborate with the HR Shared Services organization on providing LMS support across the region. Vendor Management:

Request new vendor creation, manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders, process invoices, and collaborate with the purchasing group as needed. What skills and experiences are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field. 5+ years of HR experience, which includes experience in Learning and Development. Prior experience facilitating training both in person and virtually. Fluency in English required, fluency in Mandarin is a plus. Prior experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred, experience with Workday Learning is a plus. Prior experience with leadership assessments is a plus. Facilitation:

Facilitation skills with delivering training to groups, both in person and virtually. Able to effectively engage the participant group. Leverages prior experience in providing relevant scenarios and examples with application of the training content. Proactiveness:

Take initiative to propose solutions, and drive L&D initiatives without constant supervision. Demonstrates a growth mindset and continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. Customer Focus:

Job Description

This position will support the strategic initiatives of the Organisational Development (OD) department by designing, implementing, and managing training programmes that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees. The role involves close collaboration with various departments to identify training needs, develop, implement, and monitor the learning & development of all employees to support the achievement of a performance-driven culture.   • Analyse and evaluate effectiveness of learning and development solutions mainly in the area of soft skills training.
  • Source and recommend training vendors and ensure sustainability of positive learning environment in delivering key learning objectives.
  • Assist in planning and managing the yearly budgeting process, provide guidance to staff in setting departmental budget and managing within the approved budget.
  • Develop, implement, and ensure the end-to-end effectiveness of Orientation Program for all new employees.
  • Work closely with relevant parties to drive e-learning initiatives.
  • Actively support organisational development activities in meeting company’s development objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Administration or equivalent.

Leadership And People Management Responsibilities

Recruitment and Retention:

  • Recruit, interview and hire employees for the Human Resources Development Team.
  • Communicate criteria to recruiters for positions within the team.
  • Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved. Make improvements.
  • Employee and Team Development:
  • Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility.
  • Coach and mentor Training Specialists to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer.
  • Create and manage succession plans for the Training function.
  • Performance Management:

  • Provide regular updates to the Human Resources Manager on the execution of the strategy.

Cost Management:

  • Identify creative ways to reduce cost of Training and Education by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).
  • Utilize tools available to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, striving continuously to improve value. Provide feedback to peers (Salary Recruiting Team Leader, Hourly Recruiting Team Leader, Compensation and Benefits Team Leader) on cost and cost trends.
  • TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuing education and training by keeping up to date with new initiatives in field of training and education e.g. e-learning.
  • Ensure that all employees have an effective orientation in to Jabil.
  • Ensure that all employees have the opportunity to develop the skills required to do their job by advocating the importance of training and education across the campus.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Training and Development team through trend reporting analysis, metrics management and encouraging every team member to improve their own skills.
  • Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant e.g ISO Training Procedures
  • Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in field.”
