As part of a high-performing team, you’ll deliver exceptional client service — providing advice on how technology enablement, digital transformation and enterprise intelligence contribute to performance improvement, as well as how IT can act as multiplying effect during major program transformations.

As organisations look to leverage the advantage IT offers, we’ll work with you to develop the consultancy and analytical skills that you’ll need in today’s environment. So whenever you join, however long you stay, the exceptional EY experience lasts a lifetime.

The opportunity

The Lead Developer will oversee the ServiceNow development team, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) domain.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, with a strong emphasis on GRC modules.
  • Manage a team of developers, providing guidance and oversight to ensure best practices and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies within the development team.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership in the integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow features, with a focus on GRC capabilities and financial services regulations.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical and able to work under pressure
  • Foster an efficient, innovative and team-oriented work environment

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a proven track record in GRC implementations.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is required; additional certifications in GRC are highly valued.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing development teams.
  • Familiarity with financial services regulations and compliance requirements in Malaysia.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

What we look for

Highly motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry. An effective communicator, you will be a confident leader equipped with strong people management skills and a genuine passion to make things happen in a dynamic organization.
