MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses delivered by the Department.
- To supervise student projects and assist them in understanding assignment requirements.
- To design and execute formative and summative assessment including marking that is aligned with student learning outcomes.
- To provide feedback to students on their learning through student consultations.
- To ensure programmes are in compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards
- To maintain strong partnership with foreign university partners to support programme delivery and collaboration.
- To conduct research in areas as per discussion with Head of Department.
- To publish papers and present papers at local and international conferences.
- Other duties within the Department as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND JOB COMPETENCIES
Minimum Academic Qualification
Candidates must possess at least Master or Doctorate in Law from a recognized institution.
Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) or Bar (Malaysia or equivalent jurisdiction) is highly desirable.
Experience
At least 5-7 years teaching at university level.
Experience with corporate law and cyber law is an advantage.
Core Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of MQA standards and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and others.
- Demonstrated ability to work with students and staff from diverse range of backgrounds.

- Draft the feedback in respect of other laws or international treaties which directly and/or indirectly impacts the Commission, to ensure that the same are in order and safeguard the interest of the Commission;
- Attend meetings and/or discussions with internal and/or external stakeholders in respect of the review of the laws, etc., which may include organizing workshops, etc. in soliciting feedback, to ensure that the laws amended and/or developed addresses the needs of the stakeholders; and
- Attend meetings and/or discussions in respect of respect of other laws or international treaties that directly and/or indirectly impact the Commission, to ensure that the Commission's interest is duly safeguarded
Qualification & Work Experience
- Candidate must possess at least a LLB (Hons) from a reputable university with a minimum CGPA of 3.0;
- A member of the Malaysian Bar will be an added advantage;
- Minimum 2-4 years of working experience. Exposure in handling litigation matters will be an added advantage; and
- Exposure to communications and multimedia laws will be an added advantage
