Overview

The Program Manager leads the tactical interface between the customer and various Plexus functional areas. This position is responsible for leading the Customer Focus Team (CFT) and managing the day-to-day customer relationship. In essence, be the “voice of Plexus” to the customer and the “voice of the customer” to Plexus.

Responsibilities

• Engage and lead the Customer Focus Team(s), ensuring that the team(s) understand the overall program contract(s) / goals, are performing consistently and are empowered to make decisions and solve problems as they arise.
• Take the lead in engaging with Customer(s) in respect of delivery commitments, quarterly business reviews, site visits and negotiating PPV and NRE.

• If have direct reports: Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's is required.
• Two (2) years of related experience is required; Two (2) or more years of related experience is preferred.

Job Description

1. Lead and manage Engineering Program resulting in successful program deliverables.
2. Lead and collaborate with global counterparts in end-to-end project lifecycle strategic planning.
3. Serve as the focal point of contact to stakeholders on program performance and requirements, including Business, Finance, Engineering issues, and Project Schedule.
4. Drive the project core team and ensure the project deliverables and budget meet the business case.
5. Responsible for new product development from concept to market, managing design cycles of initiation, design, build, and test, working closely with EMS partners.
6. Communicate directly with relevant senior stakeholders, leading complex communications and negotiations with internal and external parties.
7. Plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure all obligations are met; may pursue contract negotiations with ODM when appropriate; plan for multiple scenarios.
8. Identify and mitigate critical business and project risks; own resolution of dependencies or issues not being delivered by the responsible party; take necessary actions to keep the program on track.
9. Ensure adherence to the program budget and control costs; recommend and implement corrective actions.
10. Perform worst-case scenario analysis, anticipate challenges, and develop mitigation plans to de-risk project deliverables.
11. Challenge the core team constructively, push boundaries to meet project goals, ensure excellent stakeholder management, and uphold MSI quality standards.

Basic Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Certified PMP is an advantage.
3. Experience in Agile Project Management, Jira, Scrum is an advantage.
4. Experience in Design and Product/Solutions development environment.
5. Over 3 years of Program Management experience or equivalent.
6. Proven track record of leading and delivering business results independently.
7. Experience leading outsource partners and resolving technical and timeline issues.
8. Good presentation skills for addressing senior executives.
9. High energy and passion for successful program execution.

Summary

The “ Program Manager ” will be based in Flex PTP, reporting to Director, Program Management. In this role, you will be in charge of guiding a team of cross-functional experts in the delivery of customer-focused products and services, and will lead development and execution of project, pricing, and program strategies to continue delivering value to the business and its customers.
