In this position you will play a vital role in managing the regional execution of the global product portfolio strategy. What your role will be?

You will be:

  • Portfolio Strategy and Execution
    Serve as the regional owner of the Scientific product portfolio across all verticals (e.g., pharma, biotech, medical devices, semiconductors, nutraceuticals).
  • Translate global category strategies into regionally relevant execution plans.
  • Drive pricing strategy and gross margin improvement initiatives in alignment with commercial and financial targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales, field reports, pricing levels, and competition to adjust tactics and optimize results.
  • Identify opportunities for product rationalization and operational efficiencies.
  • Product Lifecycle & Innovation Management
    Lead product introductions, changes, and obsolescence activities. Ensure on-time regional launch execution including localizing launch materials and coordinating product setup. Maintain product data integrity in internal systems and tools (PIM, SAP, sample warehouse, etc.).
  • Product Specifications & Branding
    Manage product specifications, data sheets, packaging artwork, and branding according to brand identity guidelines
  • Innovation Pipeline Input
    Provide input into global and regional innovation pipelines based on market needs, trends, and competitive analysis

Cross-Functional Leadership & Risk Management

  • Function as the central product expert and point of contact for regional stakeholders (sales, marketing, customers, distributors).
  • Work closely with R&D, Regulatory, and Quality teams to ensure compliance and performance of products.
  • Support risk assessment, corrective actions, and communication plans related to product quality, compliance, or regulatory issues.
  • Partner with Regional Product Supply to align on forecasting, capacity, and availability.
  • Contribute to the regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Training & Commercial Support
  • Coordinate product training initiatives (materials, workshops, webinars) for internal teams and distributors.
  • Support regional sales efforts including customer visits, product presentations, and training sessions.

Market Intelligence & Digital Enablement
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to provide strategic insights.

  • Support the integration of sustainability and circular economy principles into product and packaging development.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: coordinate with countries, portfolio management and conversion based on regional priorities and aligned with global Product End of life and Sales.
  • Promotions and Communication: create customer experience through regional events/site visits with customer focus. Support scientific studies and educational programs. Drive white papers/external publications. Work with Marketing Communications to drive multi-layer market awareness campaigns and ongoing digital promotion activities across APJ.
  • Planning: responsible for Monthly Target Achievement (MTA) and Monthly Business Review (MBR) Revenue Coordination with Market Data and IB deployment. Marketing Plan creation and Promotion Plan activities consolidation. Analyze market trends, competition moves and respond quickly to market.
  • Represent APJ in all assigned product line discussions with country/global marketing teams.
Your Expertise
  • Strong working knowledge of In Vitro Diagnostics industry, existing industry contacts and ability to develop relationships within a clinical environment. Knowledge and experience with Healthcare IT solutions is an advantage.
  • Strategic orientation with understanding of business and clinical drivers of the APJ Laboratory Diagnostics business.
  • Excellent communications skills and a methodical, structured approach.
  • Drive collaboration across departments and cultural geographies to achieve efficient marketing outcomes supporting CLS profitable growth.
  • Ability to promote Siemens Healthineers solutions within a clinical environment to underpin success in this role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Laboratory Medicine with relevant clinical or industry experience; experience in a senior position within clinical or business settings.

Product Portfolio Management: responsible for CLS product line (instruments and reagents) launch plan, including marketing strategy, segmentation, value proposition, price positioning, country readiness, material preparation, launch & promotion activities execution. Conduct competitive pricing analysis and coordinate with global and country teams to set up and maintain product price. Regularly monitor and analyse instrument and reagent forecast and achievement to ensure overall business line objectives/metrics. Partner with sales education team to provide sales and business partner training. Work with country team to create Marketing Programs, References and Proof Points. Product Lifecycle Management: coordinate with countries, portfolio management and conversion based on regional priorities and aligned with global Product End of life and Sales. Promotions and Communication: create customer experience through regional events/site visits with customer focus. Support scientific studies and educational programs. Drive white papers/external publications. Work with Marketing Communications to drive multi-layer market awareness campaigns and ongoing digital promotion activities across APJ. Planning: responsible for Monthly Target Achievement (MTA) and Monthly Business Review (MBR) Revenue Coordination with Market Data and IB deployment. Marketing Plan creation and Promotion Plan activities consolidation. Analyze market trends, competition moves and respond quickly to market. Represent APJ in all assigned product line discussions with country/global marketing teams. Your Expertise

Strong working knowledge of In Vitro Diagnostics industry, existing industry contacts and ability to develop relationships within a clinical environment. Knowledge and experience with Healthcare IT solutions is an advantage. Strategic orientation with understanding of business and clinical drivers of the APJ Laboratory Diagnostics business. Excellent communications skills and a methodical, structured approach. Drive collaboration across departments and cultural geographies to achieve efficient marketing outcomes supporting CLS profitable growth. Ability to promote Siemens Healthineers solutions within a clinical environment to underpin success in this role. Tertiary qualifications in Laboratory Medicine with relevant clinical or industry experience; experience in a senior position within clinical or business settings.
