Summary:
Under light supervision, lab assistant will responsible to update product registration into LIMS and support daily laboratory operations by accurately sorting samples, handling lab equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance of instruments. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and precision of laboratory tests. Ensuring proper handling and storage of retain samples in compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Supports quality control of testing by ensuring cleanliness of lab in aseptic and good condition for conducting samples testing. Communicate data to Sr. Microbiologist Lab Executive in timely manner.
Summary of major duties:
- Perform sample preparation for ingredient, in-process, flushing or finished product, which include maintaining , updating LIMS system.
- Assisting Micro analyst in preparation of apparatus , media, reagent and controls to comply with Hershey GLP and ISO17025 standard
- Assist Micro analyst in daily FG samples sorting , consumable inventories , conduct proper handling and storage of FG retain samples on daily basis.
- Assist Micro analyst to maintain housekeeping, GLP and follow safety procedures in the lab.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Food Technology, Chemical related studies with related field – Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of applicable professional working experience are acceptable
- SPM/STPM with working min 3 years experience in laboratory environment good to be considered.

Lab Assistant - Your future positionAs the Lab Assistant , you will play a key role in supporting our Flavour Icon review program through flavour screening, evaluation, and food application.
