Job Description

As a Key Account, you are responsible for ensuring the quality of content for all campaigns and promotions on Traveloka Malaysia. You are the essential bridge between stakeholders and the creative team of writers and designers, digesting incoming briefs and ensuring that project details are tightened before delegating to the team. Besides stakeholder management, you will also be involved in creative brainstorms and internal creative pitch presentations.

Main areas

End-to-end stakeholder and project management

Key Account is responsible for workload traffic to the team and acts as a final QC for promos and campaigns

Able to develop workflow and task management to ease the collaboration process between stakeholders and designers

Responsibilities

Ensure that visuals and copywriting reach a high-quality standard across all campaigns, interfaces, and media channels.

Support creative development for all campaigns and promotions through frequent team briefings, project discussions, and work delegation.

Improve the collaboration process between marketing and creative teams to achieve a smooth workflow and meet deadlines.

Review English and local language content produced/translated by copywriters and ensure localisation quality is met.

Stakeholder management for all Business Units and cross-function departments in your locale(s).

Be a thought partner to the marketing team to ensure overall business objectives are met while collaborating closely with the production team, brand identity team, and external parties to deliver high-quality assets.

Requirements

The Must-Haves

  • At least 4 years of experience in an e-commerce creative team
  • Fluency in English and the local language (Bahasa Melayu) is a must (min. iBT (Internet-based TOEFL) 100 or its equivalent if editor/copywriter background)
  • Have a strong capacity to understand online consumer behaviour
  • Critical thinking and the ability to persuade the audience through storytelling
  • Outstanding analytical, quantitative, and qualitative problem-solving skills
  • Experience in creating and localising content for marketing campaigns
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills to convey and challenge ideas to support marketing campaign creation for regional customers.
  • Critical eye for detail, self-driven in accomplishing projects and coping within a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to multitask and manage more than one stakeholder

Job Description

  • Developing and maintaining a close relationship with Shopee Sellers
  • Constructing high-level strategic business plans and identifying new sources of growth
  • Educating Tier 1 Brands on methods to increase their traction in Shopee
  • Negotiating deals with sellers and curating SKUs for various campaigns, promotions, online marketing, and media as required
  • Analyzing sellers’ progress, activities, sales performances and category initiatives to drive transaction numbers and revenue
  • Identifying market gaps and managing pricing strategy, product assortment, and stock availability of Tier 1 Brands in the category
  • Securing exclusive partnerships for key campaigns (e.g.: 9.9/11.11)
  • Working closely with internal teams (e.g.: marketing, merchandising) to optimize the visibility and credibility of Tier 1 Brands

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any field; and experience in the e-commerce industry will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical skills (proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required)
  • Innovative problem-solving skills; able to dissect and identify problems and implement solutions accordingly
  • Team player with an aptitude for work and the drive to constantly outperform your KPIs
  • Excellent command of English, and the ability to converse fluently in other languages (eg: Malay, Chinese) will be an added advantage

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic client relationships, primarily with China-based clients. This role requires strong industry expertise in logistics, including fulfillment, customs, or international freight (sea and air). The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ business needs and developing tailored solutions to support their growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key China clients, building long-term partnerships and trust.
  • Deeply understand client business models and requirements to design customized logistics solutions.
  • Drive business growth by identifying opportunities to optimize fulfillment, customs clearance, and freight forwarding services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations and product) to deliver client-centric solutions.
  • Monitor account performance, resolve issues proactively, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights to enhance competitiveness and service offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews, proposals, and solution presentations to clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding, with at least 2 years in account management or client-facing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of fulfillment, customs regulations, or international freight (air & sea).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in Mandarin and English (to liaise with China-based clients).
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining strategic client relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle complex requirements, and deliver innovative solutions.

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for leading the geographic profitability development of designated Key Accounts & Partners (3PVs, Market Places) through positioning DHL as a strategic business partner, and delivering agreed programs & revenue targets, through a team drawn from across the DHL network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customers (external)

  • Identify, establish and manage multi-tier relationships across customer and DHL organizations to ensure a long-term business partnership and achievement of corporate goals
  • Build and maintain executive relationships within the designated Key Accounts (Local as well as Multi-National) customer accounts and Partners
  • Provide customer oriented service at all times relating to specific sales and customer expectation issues
  • Provide customer account revenue and activity reporting, as required by the Management team
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of strategies and approaches to maintain, protect, improve and grow account sales & portfolio
  • Keep current and provide account strategy in line with country level business plans, ensuring profitable revenue growth
  • Provide country inputs to the development of account strategies
  • Implement agreed account sales and customer acquisition strategies set by the regional account team, ensuring targeted revenue and profitability levels are in line with agreed business plans
  • Drive sales improvement through regionally harmonized processes
  • Contribute to the regional bidding or RFQ process when requested

Communication

  • Develop a working relationship with the relevant support sections e.g. GKAM Support Group, Operations to ensure they are kept up to date with all issues relating to the GKAM Customer accounts
  • Represent the customer in the solution/service development process, ensuring clear communication of customer expectations and requirements
  • Work together to strategically improve the overall competitive advantage of the customer, and maximize the customer’s life time value to DHL

Sales/Customer Account Development – Planning and Follow Up

  • Formulate a personal sales plan that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new business prospects and maximizes growth within the existing account base so that the required account sales results are achieved
  • Develop and implement a strategy to promote DHL programs and solutions to the assigned list of customer accounts
  • Implement global and regional account acquisition / development approaches and platforms
  • Display strong skills in global customer analysis to ensure that all customer requirements are being fulfilled
  • Manage and co-ordinate the agreed account initiatives, activities and programs to retain and grow ongoing revenue and profit contributions
  • Develop plans to deny competitor penetration into the accounts
  • Co-ordinate the development and delivery of services and solutions that provide consistency and reusability to enable customers to achieve their corporate objectives and gain competitive advantage through DHL

Margins/Profitability Assurance

  • Establish and implement a pricing review timetable that ensures improving margins from designated accounts
  • Adhere to regional standards on profit margins and discount guidelines
  • Ensure all customer agreements are cost sensitive to ensure a suggested minimum pricing tariff is set and adhered too. Any deviations from this tariff requires management agreement and justification

Desired Skills / Qualifications

  • 5 years corporate consultative / solution-based sales experience in a related industry (Market places brand key account management, Tech, eCommerce, FMCG, Media sales).
  • Experience in managing and developing large & complex accounts
  • Experience in DHL network

Minimum Educational Qualification

  • Degree in Business (or related discipline)
