As a Key Account, you are responsible for ensuring the quality of content for all campaigns and promotions on Traveloka Malaysia. You are the essential bridge between stakeholders and the creative team of writers and designers, digesting incoming briefs and ensuring that project details are tightened before delegating to the team. Besides stakeholder management, you will also be involved in creative brainstorms and internal creative pitch presentations.
Main areas
End-to-end stakeholder and project management
Key Account is responsible for workload traffic to the team and acts as a final QC for promos and campaigns
Able to develop workflow and task management to ease the collaboration process between stakeholders and designers
Responsibilities
Ensure that visuals and copywriting reach a high-quality standard across all campaigns, interfaces, and media channels.
Support creative development for all campaigns and promotions through frequent team briefings, project discussions, and work delegation.
Improve the collaboration process between marketing and creative teams to achieve a smooth workflow and meet deadlines.
Review English and local language content produced/translated by copywriters and ensure localisation quality is met.
Stakeholder management for all Business Units and cross-function departments in your locale(s).
Be a thought partner to the marketing team to ensure overall business objectives are met while collaborating closely with the production team, brand identity team, and external parties to deliver high-quality assets.
Requirements
The Must-Haves
- At least 4 years of experience in an e-commerce creative team
- Fluency in English and the local language (Bahasa Melayu) is a must (min. iBT (Internet-based TOEFL) 100 or its equivalent if editor/copywriter background)
- Have a strong capacity to understand online consumer behaviour
- Critical thinking and the ability to persuade the audience through storytelling
- Outstanding analytical, quantitative, and qualitative problem-solving skills
- Experience in creating and localising content for marketing campaigns
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills to convey and challenge ideas to support marketing campaign creation for regional customers.
- Critical eye for detail, self-driven in accomplishing projects and coping within a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.

The Role:
We are looking for a results-driven Key Account Manager/Senior Key Account Manager to lead and grow our Pro-Retailers network for Home & Distribution and Power Products. In this role, you’ll execute business plans, drive promotional activities, and manage sales targets by engaging directly with authorized pro-retailers across assigned territories. You’ll be responsible for expanding point-of-sale coverage, delivering product training, and promoting Schneider Electric’s transactional offers to boost sell-out performance. What will you do?
- Execute business plan, strategies and promotional activities.
- Manage authorized company's pro-retailers by organizing sales visit within assigned territory and number of point of sales.
- Meet pro-retailers in person, pitching products & services and promoting the company’s offerings/marketing program face-to-face.
- Responsible for carrying and meeting sales targets in addition to managing the number of point of sales, which means they are tasked with achieving specific sales goals or quotas through their direct interactions with pro-retailers.
- Persuasively promote the company’s products/offerings to meet or exceed the set sales targets.
- Maintain relationships with pro-retailers by providing support, information, and guidance for company's products.
- Territory management - POS expansion all Regions - to recruit new pro- retailers.
- Promote Schneider Electric’s transactional offers.
- Support authorized pro-retailers with product knowledge and training.
- Drive sell-out and ensuring offer attractiveness in the Pro-Retails channel.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Min Diploma/Degree in Engineering / Business Administration or any other related discipline.
- Preferably with above 3 years of working experience in channel/ distribution especially in managing pro-retailers. Candidates from other industries also may apply.
- Knowledge of Low Voltage products is advantageous.
- Demonstrated successful sales track record in electrical/ modern trade channel or other Tier 2 industries.
- Territory / channel management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and account development skill.
- Demonstrated experience in channel marketing and handling sell through (sell out) program.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skill.
- Proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin. Knowledge of Cantonese and Hokkien dialects is an added advantage.

The Key Account Manager will be supporting the management and development of the Key Account business in Malaysia towards meeting the company’s objectives through Strategic Customer Planning and strong trade relationships.
What are their Job Responsibilities:
- To practice “Strategic Key Account Management” Approach in managing the customers.
- Negotiation of national contracts based on commercial policy and the client objectives
- Monitors agreements roll-out and investments
- Maintains relationships with customers’ key decision makers
- Manages the account’s P&L
- Develops relationship with the buyer
- Coordinates execution of agreements and promotions with the sales force
- Builds the business plans for each assigned customer
- Draw out monthly promotion plan, review customer monthly/ yearly cumulative sales performance, the market and the category performance, promotion design, measurement tool and the promotion effectiveness evaluation
- In depth understanding of the key account retails sales strategy and operation mechanism, formulate key account strategy, goal and budget constraint, determine the business cooperation foundation & opportunity.
What are the Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree in Business/Marketing
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience in Key Account Management
- Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication skills in English
- Experienced in the FMCG industry is an added advantage
- Experienced in Strategic Customer Management and Relationship Management.
