• Plan and execute testing: Conduct acceptance testing for data centers and server rooms following industry standards, technical guidelines, and project requirements.
• Electrical system focus: Oversee inspection and testing of 33kV & 11kV MV distribution systems, transformers, 0.4kV LV distribution, UPS, 110V DC systems, diesel generators, PDUs, busbars, and other critical electrical infrastructure.
• Data management & reporting: Compile and document test results accurately, prepare detailed reports, and ensure proper record-keeping.
• Client & consultant coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants, addressing technical concerns and ensuring alignment with project expectations.
• Project execution & compliance: Ensure all testing activities comply with regulatory and safety standards, resolving any non-compliance issues promptly.

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or Measurement & Control Technology.
• At least 3 years of experience in data center or server room acceptance testing, or 5 years in commissioning, testing, or field service in 0.4kV and above power distribution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork spirit, high sense of responsibility, and ability to perform under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant technical tools.
• Hardworking, detail-oriented, and willing to work overtime.
• Proficiency in English, with Mandarin & Malay skills preferred.

We are seeking an experienced Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team for Data Centre projects in Malaysia. This position demands a solid foundation in electrical engineering, particularly in testing and commissioning power generation equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment and systems adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements through thorough and safe testing processes. Responsibilities will encompass managing all aspects of testing, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST). The engineer should be proficient in developing and executing test plans that align with customer needs while maintaining clear communication with the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and perform hands-on testing and commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, and IST.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards during testing and commissioning processes.
• Develop and implement testing protocols to validate system functionality and performance according to customer specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with project teams to incorporate testing and commissioning activities into overall project plans.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, including test reports, commissioning plans, and equipment manuals.
• Provide technical support on site during Genset installation and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate with the factory to ensure alignment on testing requirements and schedules.
• Participate in project meetings and effectively communicate with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in testing and commissioning power generator preferred.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical testing and commissioning (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NEC).
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and capacity to analyze complex electrical systems.
• Experience in project management or coordination is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• This position may require travel to project sites or customer locations, both locally and internationally as needed.
• CIDB certified.

Job Summary

To manage a team of testers and conduct end to end testing on new projects or systems roll-out.

Job Responsibilities:-

Automation

-Responsible for writing and maintain test automation script. Execution on automation script and troubleshoot any failed cases.
-Review manual test cases from current release to identify functions that can be automated for testing.
-Identify architecture improvements required.
-Update and enhance framework components

Testing Planning
-Review, analyze and assess business requirement and functional / design requirements of the projects / releases.
-Understand requirement and ensure the documents have sufficient information to create test scenario, test conditions and expected results
-Able to manage a group of test resources for UAT test cases creation and perform a complete end to end testing.
-Review unit test results from developers / vendors
-Plan and manage testing schedule and resources

About You

Job Requirements

-3 years’ experience in Manual testing and Automation testing(preferred) in telco domain
-Experience with various testing tools and defect tracking tools
-Proficient with Windows OS, UNIX, LINUX, SQL
-Experience with Telco CRM or billing system would be added advantage
-Experience in Selenium and Appium would be added advantage
-Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills
-Effective verbal and written communication skills
