What is your mission?

• Effectively communicate various QA procedures, products, and business applications with technical and non-technical staff.
• Plan and complete performance tests using automated means, lead testing procedures, and create detailed reports with different teams in the organization.
• Gather, document, and control all necessary user requirements and technical specifications that correlate with program functionality.
• Develop thorough test plans for medium to complex systems to ensure that application functionality meets original requirements to project.
• Deliver system manual, reference, training and support to staff, clients and end users.
• Ensure that applications meet the needs of the stakeholders, businesses, and users.
• Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time, within your category of employment in the organization and for the effective implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System of TDCX.

Who are we looking for?

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Preferable with 2 years of working experience in the related field is ideal for this position.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
• Possesses technical knowledge and ability to be hands-on.
• Possesses strong analytical skills, testing planning and execution with great communication skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented and a responsible team-player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the language of the supporting market.

As a Quality Engineer, you will perform a wide range of quality control tests and analysis to ensure that the software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. You will collaborate with the development team to establish a testing strategy, and acceptance criteria, and to develop/ execute automated and manual testing.

This location will be hybrid for 4Days client onsite at Kelana Jaya, and 1 Day WFH

Skills And Experiences

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or post graduate qualification, preferably in IT/Engineering.
• Technically proficient in C#, SQL, .NET
• Experienced in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing, preferably in Selenium
• Manual test execution & management tasks related to test scripts/cases and defects, would be great on automation testing familiarity
• Including System Integration Testing (SIT), System Defect Management, Quality Engineering Strategy Implementation, User Acceptance Test (UAT) & Regression Testing
• Developing software applications in Microsoft environments- Programming, scripting, performance testing
• Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to express technical concepts in business terms to the clients.
• Good communication, written and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
• Well-organized, independent, detailed and able to meet committed deadlines.
• Possess conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in client/server and/or mobile computing environments are desirable.
• Have in-depth IT knowledge of QA strategy, process and tools and able to drive and execute software QA projects.
• Possess strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in new and legacy computing architectures and environments (e.g. client/server, Web, mobile application).
• Have in-depth knowledge of relational databases and database applications (DB2 and/or Microsoft SQL Server).
• Familiar with application design knowledge in C#.Net and AJAX, JavaScript and C# Language
• Have experience in handheld application development for various platforms (android, iOS and Windows mobile)
• Experienced in management and development in MS SQL Server database (T-SQL, Stored Procedure, Trigger, etc.)

Your roles and responsibilities:

Conduct a wide range of quality-control tests and analysis to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.

Perform estimation efforts on projects and track progress.

Draft and revise test plans and scripts with consideration to end-to-end system flows.

Execute test scripts according to application requirements documentation.

Analyze requirements and design aspects of projects.

Log defects, identify course of action and perform preliminary root cause analysis.

Analyze and communicate test results to project team.

What we need from you:

At least 2 years of working experience in application/software tester role.

Good verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills. Personality traits - pleasant, self-motivated, enthusiastic, meticulous, result- oriented, responsible, independent, trustworthy, ethical and a team player.

Technical knowledge - automation scripting with Java or C#, as well as any Performance and Load testing execution, software testing and quality, and SQL Server 2000/2005.

Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.

Ability to prepare test script and conduct test for multi applications at one time. Possess a Degree in Engineering (Computer), Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent.

Functional Tester responsibilities will include:

• Testing of various software applications, mobile apps and web applications.
• Create Test strategies, Test Plans, Test Sign Off documents and status reports.
• Preparing test data, Testcase execution and daily status update to stakeholder.
• Understanding and adapting complex system architecture and creating test strategy.
• Create traceability Matrix to map requirements and test cases in a spreadsheet.
• Participate in software design reviews and walk-throughs.
• Consult with business and systems analysts on test plans and test cases.
• Find reproduce and accurately report issues in detailed bug reports.
• Analyze and troubleshoot reported defects and internal issues.
• Follow up on bug-fixing efforts with developers to ensure proper closure and resolution of discovered and
existing issues.
• Review test cases with SME and BA and system walkthrough to team members.
• General overview of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Create detailed system and integration test cases.
• Analyze test results and demonstrate the results.
• Provide test evidence and defect status reports for audit purposes.
• Log and manage defects in a tool and conduct defect triage meetings.
• Escalate Roadblocks.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum Cert: Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in testing field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidate with financial industry experience is an added advantage
• Experience designing test cases and test scenario from requirement document.
• Ability to quickly acquire knowledge on complex integrated systems
• Test Management tools (Jira + XRAY, HPQC, etc.)
• API testing.
• Automation tools and scripting knowledge are added advantages.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Financial domain and SAP experience is preferred

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree or post graduate qualification, preferably in IT/Engineering.

Functional Tester responsibilities will include:

• Testing of various software applications, mobile apps and web applications. • Create Test strategies, Test Plans, Test Sign Off documents and status reports. • Preparing test data, Testcase execution and daily status update to stakeholder. • Understanding and adapting complex system architecture and creating test strategy. • Create traceability Matrix to map requirements and test cases in a spreadsheet. • Participate in software design reviews and walk-throughs. • Consult with business and systems analysts on test plans and test cases. • Find reproduce and accurately report issues in detailed bug reports. • Analyze and troubleshoot reported defects and internal issues. • Follow up on bug-fixing efforts with developers to ensure proper closure and resolution of discovered and existing issues. • Review test cases with SME and BA and system walkthrough to team members. • General overview of the Software Development Lifecycle. • Create detailed system and integration test cases. • Analyze test results and demonstrate the results. • Provide test evidence and defect status reports for audit purposes. • Log and manage defects in a tool and conduct defect triage meetings. • Escalate Roadblocks. Required Technical and Professional Expertise • Minimum Cert: Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science. • 1 to 3 years of experience in testing field.
