- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
- Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles.
- Able to read and write in Mandarin.

rhi is recruiting for a Sourcing Lead - Customer and Products, to join our clients team based in KL, Malaysia on a 12-month contract.
- Working hours: 5.00PM – 2.00AM (Malaysia time) – Candidate will be supporting US market (shift allowance provided)
- Working arrangement will be hybrid 60/40 (3 days in office and 2 days WFH )
- Office days - office closes at 10pm and suitable candidate will be able to finish shift working from home.
- Contract opportunity for renewal after the 12-months.
The Sourcing Lead supports various businesses within our client, with a range of medium/high complexity sourcing and contracting activities. In addition to sourcing, this role is responsible for developing supplier relationships and proactively identifying value opportunities.
This includes demand management, definition of sourcing strategy based on a predefined category framework, source selection, contract negotiation, and contract creation & maintenance. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in sourcing of services and commodities, knowledge of contracts and legal terms, sourcing strategy preparation, coupled with a strong commercial orientation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
ResponsibilitiesKey Accountabilities:
The Sourcing Lead will manage complex, end-to-end Sourcing projects as per business request, inclusive of the following activities:• Demand Management • Case Management • Sourcing Strategy • Supplier Selection • Contracting • Contract Operationalization
Across activity sets, its paramount to ensure that all requests and Scopes of Work liaise with stakeholders to ensure all business requirements are considered/met.
- Drive and manage various sourcing and contracting projects of medium/high spend & complexity
- Ensure that the business requirements are well-understood and properly covered in the sourcing process.
- Influence business demand where required and possible
- Identify value levers and opportunities to maximize value for our client in the marketplace
- Develop Sourcing strategy in accordance with the respective Category strategy
- Define approach to market and develop source selection criteria based on the business priorities and requirement
- Manage and coordinate the supplier selection process to ensure the most ideal option is chosen
- Manage all relevant stakeholder and supplier interactions incl. and relationship including senior levels throughout the sourcing project
- Negotiate and agree on relevant contract terms with suppliers
- Develop and modify contract content based on templates and manage the approval process
About you
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience is required (preferably in business studies)
- Procurement related professional certification is an advantage
Experience:
- The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of practical and application experience in end-to-end sourcing of services and commodities, drafting and negotiating contracts and legal terms, sourcing strategy preparation, coupled with a strong commercial orientation and communication skills
- At least 3 years of category specific experience in Marketing, Retail Assets or Convenience Retail
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry and/or industrial environment is an advantage
- Ability and proven record of providing professional leadership, coordinate and mentor junior team members
- Track record of successful Procurement delivery in complex, challenging international environments
- Proven experience with contract creation, negotiations and life-cycle management
- Experience working in a large and multicultural team
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Analytical abilities including marketplace and financial analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners
- Fluent in English
- Strategic thinking and ability to propose sourcing strategies
- Global / international business experience
Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office products i.e. PowerPoint, Access & Excel.
- Experience working in an Ariba / Salesforce system environment is an advantage
- Experience with e-tools

The Sourcing Specialist provides strategic and operational procurement support, leading sourcing projects across multiple categories and regions (Europe, Americas). Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The Sourcing Specialist provides strategic and operational procurement support, leading sourcing projects across multiple categories and regions (Europe, Americas). They collaborate with business stakeholders, coach local procurement teams, manage RFXs, negotiate contracts, and work with Global Category Managers and regional Sourcing Managers to secure competitive costs and terms for Mettler-Toledo.
Key Tasks:
- Collaborate closely with Global Category Managers and Sourcing Managers in Europe and the United States to support sourcing initiatives across worldwide locations, assuming increasing responsibility and engaging key stakeholders at all levels
- Provide strategic and operational procurement support to business stakeholders (product owners, service owners) across worldwide locations
- Execute commercial and contractual sourcing events, including negotiations and RFXs/tenders, securing competitive costs and favorable terms while mitigating proportional contractual risks
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate sourcing outcomes and savings to management
- Support local teams in Malaysia by promoting and implementing procurement best practices and coaching them to follow METTLER TOLEDO's procurement policies and processes
- Ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements in all procurement activities
- Support or lead small- to medium-sized projects
- Undertake additional tasks aligned with the Global Indirect Procurement Strategy, such as Purchase-to-Pay process management during transition phases and other projects as assigned
What You Need to Succeed
Background
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, procurement consulting, sales or key account management, or related fields within a globally operating organization
- Proven experience in negotiation, contracting, procurement, and managing relationships with international stakeholders and supplier.
- Experience in a similar role with a solid understanding of procurement processes, ideally within a multinational or global-scale business
- Proactive, self-directed, eager to learn, and self-motivated

Sourcing & Supplier Management
· Identify and develop qualified suppliers locally and globally for raw materials, finished components, and services.
· Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, service, compliance, and sustainability.

· Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews.
Cost & Contract Management

· Benchmark material costs to ensure competitiveness.
Procurement Strategy & Planning

· Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes to support project efficiency and cost control.
Risk & Supply Chain Management
· Monitor global material trends, price fluctuations, and geopolitical risks affecting the supply chain.
· Develop alternative sourcing strategies to mitigate risk of supply disruption.
· Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and sustainability standards.
Reporting & Systems
· Maintain and update supplier database and sourcing documentation.
· Provide regular reports on procurement KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance.
· Work with ERP and procurement systems for purchasing and inventory tracking.
