What You’ll Be Doing
Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for secondary process (plating), raw materials, and consumables.
Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery in line with production schedules.
Coordinate with the Quality and Engineering departments to evaluate supplier process capability, plating performance, and compliance with RoHS/REACH requirements.
Negotiate price, delivery terms, and contracts with local and overseas (China) vendors.
Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company procedures and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 requirements.
Monitor inventory levels, manage safety stock, and support just‑in‑time (JIT) practices.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier development (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with technical drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Knowledge of ISO/TS16949, ISO9001, or related quality systems is an advantage.

About you Qualifications

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and alignment of global strategies for key commodities and spend categories to achieve broad business objectives. Mentors, guides and directs sourcing team and commodity managers to fulfill their responsibilities as key business partners to deliver the best forward sourcing decisions while being mindful of continuity risks, total acquisition/landed costs, cycle time, on time delivery and product quality considerations. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop strategic sourcing strategies and lead cross functional teams to achieve cost reduction goals Maintain and provide a current understanding of industry with the best practices and technological trends to team members and business partners. Evaluate supplier capabilities and establish sources for new technologies and in new markets as business requirements dictate. Develop commodity business plans in response to business needs and create commodity teams to span across MACOM business units to drive global leverage. Develop annual cost savings programs and implement business strategies that directly affects company financial results and growth plans Establish and standardize strategic sourcing procedures and business process improvements Provide timely execution of earlier supplier selection into the product development cycle Identify metrics, tools, and processes to optimize sourcing, supplier activities, and efficiencies, and work collaboratively with team members to prioritize and drive implementation. Key Competencies required:
Excellent relationship management skills Strategic focus with the ability to analyze, formulate, and implement procurement strategies to significantly reduce costs for a global business. Procurement experience at the leadership level; must have experience working with senior management Requires strong business and data analysis skills, plus excellent written and verbal communication Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Must be able to manage, motivate and energize suppliers and others Willingness to travel overseas on a regular basis Must be a leader of change and be able to gain consensus on how to drive process change to improve business results Must possess the ability to develop schedules to meet specific objectives, establish priorities Willingness to make decisions without hesitation and getting things done in a timely fashion with a sense of urgency Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree preferred Minimum 10 years experience on managing procurement function Must have global sourcing experience Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office and SAP. Proficiency in Power BI a plus
