Responsibilities

Architect End-to-End SAP Solutions: Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance SAP architecture across various modules (e.g., S/4HANA, Fiori, BTP, ABAP, PI/PO, etc.) to meet business requirements. Project Solution Ownership: Take technical ownership of SAP solution design in delivery projects — from requirements gathering to go-live and support. Ensure Overall Quality: Own and ensure the overall quality of the project’s end-to-end solutions for customers. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, project managers, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of SAP solutions. To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 5 years+ of relevant experience working in a customer facing technical role with cloud/ hosting provider company
• Demonstrate successful experience in architecting complex IaaS solutions for customers. Possess professional architect level certifications from AWS/GCP
• Demonstrate hands-on skills in three or more domains: Kubernetes, cloud networking, database, storage, AI & GPU, IaC/CI/CD tooling, gaming or media streaming tech stack
• Demonstrate knowledge and hands-on skills in open source including: Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Terraform, etc
• Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to technical and non-technical audiences

Shape the future of the internet

You'll play an integral part of sales lifecycle & support Pre-Sales defining Cloud/Linode solutions as technology specialist. You will guide customers through strategic & technical aspects of Cloud transformation to drive Linode services consumption. You'll also be the thought-leader in cloud computing both outside and within Akamai.

As a Technical Solution Architect, you will be responsible for:

Driving and owns Linode accounts & opportunities as public cloud pre-sales, collaborates with sales on technical aspects Driving customer success and consumption of Linode, as part of the integrated account team Having Cloud professional service delivery experience is a plus Leading solution & product innovation initiatives. Overview

We’re seeking a seasoned Solution Architect experienced in end-to-end solutioning, capable of translating business needs into robust, scalable architectural designs—from concept through implementation and optimization.

The ideal candidate has a strong mix of technical expertise, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills, capable of overseeing solutioning from concept through implementation and ongoing optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and oversee technical architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and secure technical solutions.
• Analyse technical infrastructure problems, challenges, and complexities for private, hybrid, or multi-cloud architecture and recommend improvements.
• Define and document solution architectures, including application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers.
• Ensure adherence to architectural principles, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and other cross-functional departments to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Ensure timely execution and implementation of solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and third-party platforms.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to recommend innovative solutions.
• Support governance processes to ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrable experience (8+ years) in IT architecture, software engineering, or solution design.
• Strong end-to-end solutioning expertise covering applications, data, infrastructure, and integration.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices, APIs, and modern enterprise systems.
• Excellent understanding of security, compliance, and scalability principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
