**In this role, you are expected to:**
The Project Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
+ Responsible for the day to day management of executing to milestones and budget on one or more projects.
+ Assess creation of project plan, charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
+ Work with Project Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives and confirm project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents.
+ Ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand project schedule and key milestones.
+ Escalate project risks to the Project Director, or Project Sponsor, when appropriate.
+ Ensure vendor performance is monitored and actions taken if performance warrants.
+ Provides sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
+ Directly affects the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
+ Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
+ Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
+ Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**As a successful candidate, you would ideally have the following skills and exposure:**
+ Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
+ 6-10 years relevant experience
+ Fundamental knowledge in Loans business, Project Management, and/or Business Analysis
+ Prior industry experience.
+ Stakeholder Management experience
+ Fully knowledgeable on the day-to-day activities of a product or process; Basic understanding of the firm's different businesses and the related economics ; Individual is expected to be subject area expert in one (or more) specific skill sets
+ Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field, supported by relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP implementation with at least 5 years in managerial level in leading projects across all modules

IT Project Lead for Procurement System (Kuala Lumpur)

Our Client is a Top 3 Global Enterprise Business Application Provider and a leader in providing collaborative business commerce solutions. They are looking for a high caliber candidate with solid experience in Procurement Systems to manage multiple Supplier Enablement projects. This position will focus on the eProcurement and eSourcing application solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Act as a key point of contact with external parties, such as customers and suppliers. Build and maintain relationships with them.
2. Accountable for multiple projects' content and strategy including Enablement Road Map, Onboarding Plan, Catalog creation and maintenance, Contracts creation and maintenance, and data collection.
3. Liaise with internal and external key stakeholders.
4. Focus on customer satisfaction, meeting and exceeding targeted quality objectives.
5. Responsible for projects' enablement in all aspects, such as delivery, timeline, deployment, and risk mitigations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree or related disciplines.
2. More than 6 years of Project Management experience in eProcurement or eSourcing enablement projects.
3. Good knowledge of Procurement-related processes, Catalog and Contracts Enabling Services Solutions, Procurement Deployment and enablement processes.
4. Highly autonomous with the capability to influence and motivate other stakeholders.
5. Excellent customer service and Project Management skills.
6. Strong communication skills in English.

**In this role, you're expected to:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President - Project Lead to join our Fund Operations Change team. This role is critical in driving strategic initiatives, managing complex projects, and ensuring the successful implementation of operational improvements within the **Fund Services area across Middle Office, Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency.** The VP - Project Lead will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing project budgets, and delivering projects on time and within scope. This position requires a strong understanding of fund services operations, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
The Project Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for the day-to-day management of executing to milestones and budget on one or more projects.
+ Assess creation of project plan, charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
+ Work with Project Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives and confirm project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents.
+ Ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand project schedule and key milestones.
+ Escalate project risks to the Project Director, or Project Sponsor, when appropriate.
+ Ensure vendor performance is monitored and actions taken if performance warrants.
+ Provides sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
+ Directly affects the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
+ Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
+ Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
+ Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:**
**Qualifications:**
+ 6-10 years of experience on significant client change or implementation programs, preferably within Fund Operations/Investor Services space
+ Working experience and/or expertise around local/APAC landscape, environment, and specifics
+ Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering results on time and within budget
+ Continuous improvement and transformation-related skillset and mindset with proven track record of the same
+ Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
+ Stakeholders' management skills, ability to build long-term relationships
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
+ Ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
