Job Summary: Leads project teams through all stages of design and delivery. Drives project execution and technical coordination. Manages client relationships and supports team development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and delivery across project stages from concept to completion.

• Review, direct and prepare technical documentation, including drawings and specifications.
• Engage with clients and consultants for project execution.

6. Good communication and presentation skills. Able to speak and write English fluently.

We’re looking for a Principal Enterprise Architect to lead the design, alignment, and governance of complex IT systems across business domains. In this role, you’ll act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, ensuring that architecture decisions support both technical excellence and business outcomes.

- Translate business goals into scalable, secure, and maintainable IT architectures.
- Drive architecture decisions aligned to roadmap, business strategy, and regulatory needs.
- Lead architectural reviews, create system blueprints (C4, RAIDs, data flows), and guide solution realization.
- Translate logical designs into physical implementations considering performance, security, integration, and cost.
- Ensure alignment of frontend/backend systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and infrastructure (cloud/on-prem).
- Define and enforce architecture standards, security guidelines, and development methodologies.
- Drive compliance with internal and external audit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
- Support architectural decision records (ADRs), build-vs-buy analysis, and service blueprinting.
- Act as a senior advisor to internal and client teams, balancing technical and business priorities.
- Influence decisions across delivery, infrastructure, security, and executive leadership.
- Facilitate workshops, build consensus, and advocate for architectural best practices.
- Coach junior architects and engineering teams on architecture fundamentals.
- Promote a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- 10+ years in IT architecture roles, with 3+ years in enterprise or principal architect capacity.
- Strong experience across cloud (AWS, Azure), microservices, DevOps, API management, and enterprise integration (MQ, ESB, event streaming).
- Demonstrated knowledge in systems design, security architecture, data modeling, and application scalability.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in architectural tools and modeling standards (C4, UML, BPMN, etc.).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field/

Qualifications
10+ years in IT architecture roles, with 3+ years in enterprise or principal architect capacity. Strong experience across cloud (AWS, Azure), microservices, DevOps, API management, and enterprise integration (MQ, ESB, event streaming). Demonstrated knowledge in systems design, security architecture, data modeling, and application scalability. Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in architectural tools and modeling standards (C4, UML, BPMN, etc.). Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field/
Preferred:
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., banking, payments, insurance). Familiarity with Lean Value Trees, Agile roadmapping, or strategic portfolio planning. Strong negotiation and decision-making ability across technical and business domains.

The Dir - Enterprise Architect will define and drive the strategic technology vision, ensuring alignment between business objectives and the evolving technology landscape of Plexus. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining architectural standards for existing systems and processes, while identifying and implementing future-forward technologies to support growth, efficiency and innovation.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture roadmap that supports long-term business strategy and incorporates emerging technologies.
- Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards, policies, and guidelines to ensure consistency, security, and scalability across all architecture domains.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms, including cloud-based solutions, to support business needs and drive innovation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable technical architectures, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
- Lead architecture reviews and assessments to ensure viability within the technology environment per established standards, best-practice fit with existing technologies and overall strategy.
- Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices, with a focus on cloud-native solutions.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate new technologies and architectural approaches.
- Maintain a comprehensive architecture repository, documenting existing systems, data models, and technology components.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams throughout the development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the related field, or a Master’s degree and 5-7 years of experience in the related field. Previous experience in a management role is required. Preference at this level is to have a Master’s degree or to be in pursuit of one.
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful architectural strategies.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Deep knowledge of cloud computing, data architecture, application architecture, infrastructure architecture and process architecture.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and IoT.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business strategy into technical solutions.
- Experience with creating and documenting architecture standards and technology roadmaps.
- Preferred: Experience with the suite of Google's cloud offerings, including Workspace, BigQuery, and GCP.

Job Overview
We are seeking a visionary and pragmatic Enterprise Architect to join our Group Information Technology leadership team. You will play a pivotal role in designing and governing the technology blueprint for the entire TIME Group , ensuring that our systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with business strategy.
You will shape the future-state architecture across core platforms including SAP HANA (via RISE), CRM, Microservices, DevSecOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Identity Management , while streamlining and aligning systems across our Wholesale, Enterprise, and Consumer business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Architectural Leadership
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Group’s long-term business and technology goals.
- Solution Design & Governance
- Lead the design of complex, end-to-end technology solutions. Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices. Provide leadership on strategic initiatives, including the SAP HANA migration , system consolidation , and DevSecOps rollout .
- Systems Integration
- Oversee the integration of legacy and modern systems to ensure data consistency, operational efficiency, and ecosystem cohesion.
- Identify opportunities to leverage modern technologies to unlock new business value, enhance customer experiences, and improve operational effectiveness.
- Architecture Problem Solving
- Tackle complex, ambiguous problems with a first-principles mindset. Use structured architectural thinking to define feasible solutions from scratch.
- Provide informed guidance on architecture decisions, including hands-on assessment of frameworks, tools, and platforms (e.g., Kafka , Keycloak , AWS vs GCP ).
- Partner with business unit leaders to design modular, future-ready architectures tailored to their specific needs, while maintaining cohesive cross-group collaboration.
- Secure-by-Design & Compliance
- Embed cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance standards into all architectural designs in partnership with the Group Security Office.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CIO and ExCo, helping evaluate technology investments and articulate architectural risk/reward trade-offs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in architecture roles.
- Proven ability to lead complex architecture efforts across large-scale enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience in both infrastructure and application domains.
- This is not a theory-only role – practical implementation experience is required.
- Experience in management consulting + industry environments is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as TOGAF , Zachman , or equivalent frameworks are preferred.
- Deep familiarity with SOA , microservices , event-driven architecture , and cloud-native principles .
- Extensive experience in championing and steering enterprise-wide technology transformation, guiding the organization through the complexities of modernization efforts such as cloud adoption, aligning IT with business strategy, and improving operational efficiency.

Hatch Asia has been appointed as the exclusive executive search partner for one of our global clients within the financial services space to help identify a Head, Enterprise Architecture for their technology function in Kuala Lumpur. This is a global role and will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's technology strategy moving forward.
The Challenges
- Co-develop company enterprise digital blueprint and architecture which encompasses vision, strategies, and plans for growth through evaluation and analysis of target solutions, creation of solution models that integrates between businesses and customers, leading the strategy fortechnology platforms, partnerships and external relationships, identification of new opportunities for growthand maintenance of digital technology strategic plan so as to ensure alignment between the organization and it's overall business objectives.
- Develop together with functions within the organization both short- and long-term digital and technological solutionsthrough assessment of current and anticipating business needs. conduct wideenterprise research, benchmark and provide responses against business pain-points which are related to technology assets ranging from servers to application development, collaborate with business and technology solution providers, to help determine relevant solutions for the organization, which will enable the firm to achieve it's business goals.
- Conduct an effective assessment of the digital portfolio of the current and emerging digital landscape, identify potential disruptive changes and technologies that could potentially impact the organizations performance and business operations. Steer the implementation of risk assurance on digital portfolios including future investment, identification and recommendation of relevant technologies for adoption an the evaluation of successful adoption of potential solutions which are business-critical.
- Lead efforts in setting up, managing and scaling up the ideation methodology across the organization by establishing design thinking workshops, and running innovation labs which will assist the organization in building out innovative solutions for the business.
- Integration architecture design and maintenance will be a crucial component to this role, where focus will lie in minimizing operational downtime and ensuring performance of integration and transaction processing speed are always at optimal performance.
What It Takes
- 13-15 years working experience preferable in technology relative to
industry; 7-10 years of working experience in an enterprise architecture
or solution design position within a fast-paced and fast-evolving
environment, preferably working as an IT Transformation/Digital/IT
Strategy/Enterprise Architecture senior level role. - Experience in Banking/Financial Services and Consulting, would be a major advantage.
