Position Summary
The Technical Support Administrator is responsible for supporting the Global Service Delivery team with the operational functions of a full-service global organization. The successful candidate will have a very strong work ethic, is well organized, responsive, analytically skilled, a strategic thinker, detail oriented and quality minded.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Regional Manager in Malaysia.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Global Service Delivery leadership with projects and day to day team administration of the team. This may include:
- Reporting (building, refining, and maintain)
- Monitoring Contingent Workforce engineers
- Investigating data anomalies
- Compiling supporting information for client investigations
- Drive review of and maintenance of Engineer data including Skills Matrix, Job Profiles, Training & other tasks
- Facilitate the maintenance client data in SharePoint, Salesforce and OneNote
- Assist new Engineers with HR Onboarding and Training task
- Monitor & Escalate cases in jeopardy of violating Service Level Agreements
- Manage and maintain on call schedule in XMatters tool
- Documenting operational processes, quality expectations, and reporting against expectations
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
- Other job-related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
Location

Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
Language
- Fluent Mandarin or Japanese speaking and writing skills
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
Experience
- Experience in a technology-based field
- Project Management or operations support experience welcomed
Skills
- Assist with and have good working knowledge and experience in reporting using tools such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Qlik, SharePoint, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Project Management or Operations focused
- Self-starter, equally as happy to work on their own and in teams
- Self-confident with ability to work with and influence senior management
- Very strong work ethic and team player with a positive “do what it takes” attitude
- Deep understanding and hands-on skills working with Salesforce.com (SFDC CRM Application) a plus
- Familiarity or experience with ERP systems a plus (SAP, EBS, Oracle Technology)
- Strong aptitude for utilizing Business Intelligence tools
- Strong problem solving, organizational and collaboration skills
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Office products, especially Excel would be highly regarded

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Unix System Administrator to manage and support enterprise-level Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, middleware platforms (JBoss, WebLogic), and messaging platforms (IBM MQ, Apache Kafka). The role involves installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability of systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers in physical and virtualized environments.
- Administer and manage middleware platforms including JBoss EAP and Oracle WebLogic Server.
- Manage messaging systems: IBM MQ (queues, channels, security) and Apache Kafka (brokers, topics, partitions).
- Perform system and application performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Plan and apply OS and middleware patches/upgrades with minimal downtime.
- Monitor system health, capacity, and security using appropriate tools.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using shell scripting or Ansible.
- Work with application teams for deployment and environment configuration.
- Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and failover readiness.
- Document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
- Operating Systems: RHEL 7/8 (installation, tuning, security hardening).
- Middleware: JBoss EAP, Oracle WebLogic (deployment, clustering, JVM tuning).
- Messaging: IBM MQ administration, Kafka setup & monitoring.
- Scripting: Bash, Shell, or Python for automation.
- Tools: Ansible, Nagios/Zabbix/Prometheus, Git.
- Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, SSL/TLS certificate management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with application and infrastructure teams.
- Ability to work under pressure in production support environments.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).

GENERAL SUMMARY
Prometric ( is the recognized global leader in technology-enabled assessment services, providing paper-and-pencil, internet and computer-based testing solutions. It offers a fully integrated testing system that includes test development, test delivery and data management capabilities. On behalf of 600 current clients in the academic, professional, government, corporate and information technology markets, Prometric develops and/or delivers assessments through a global network of testing centers in 132 countries as well as direct to candidates via the Web
Prometric is seeking highly motivated, system administrator to handle daily functions. The administrator functions include backup checks, restoring data, building VM servers, daily production support, monthly Microsoft security patching and software deployments.
The candidate will work one evening shift in support of the global teams of Production Support, System Engineering and development. Candidates will be asked to work weekends for monthly security patching, production deployments and on-call support.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Build and maintain a variety of operating systems VM servers to include Microsoft and Linux.
- Perform monthly Microsoft security patching to all environments.
- Perform daily backup checks of all production environments and correct if there are issues.
- On request, restore data from backups.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and outside representatives.
- Execute ongoing procedures for upgrades to servers, applications and networks, inclusive of patching and configuration changes necessary for server hardening.
- Deploy internally developed software in test and production environments.
- Provide on call support after standard business hours and be available for weekend software deployments into the production environment.
- When needed, assist the Cyber Security team in checking daily lists.
- Applicant MUST be fluent in English.
- Working knowledge of data center operations, network operations, network management, network protocols, infrastructure design and implementation, client/server architecture and application security.
- Understanding of virtualization technologies (VMWare).
- Understanding of enterprise authentication systems, particularly Microsoft Active Directory.
- Minimum three years of System Administration experience in the IT field supporting Windows systems.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong adherence to and understanding of change control process.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player and able to work effectively in a group environment.
- Motivated self-starter willing to take on ownership of systems and projects.
