Key Responsibilities

Investment Analysis

• Conduct financial modelling and analysis for potential renewable energy projects
• Perform due diligence on investment opportunities, including market research, financial assessments, and risk analysis
• Assist in preparing investment memos and presentations for senior management and investment committees
• Analyse operational data of existing assets and financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement and potential risks
• Support the execution of investment transactions, including term sheets, contracts, and financing agreements
• Coordinate with legal, technical, and financial advisors to ensure successful transaction closure
• Manage and maintain detailed transaction documentation and records

Market Research

• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector

Stakeholder Communication

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, developers, and industry partners
• Communicate financial concepts and investment strategies effectively to both internal and external parties

Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, project/corporate finance, or a similar role, preferably with prior exposure to renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

The Lendlease Investment Management business is seeking to hire an experienced Investment Analyst to join the team based in Kuala Lumpur. As part of our team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

1. Reporting & Presentations : Contribute to the preparation of quarterly reports, investor briefing decks, board papers, and other internal and external communications. Support the development of high-quality, data-driven presentations and respond to ad-hoc reporting needs.
2. Financial Modelling & Analysis : Maintain, enhance, and develop robust financial models for existing assets and development projects. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of model outputs to support strategic decision-making. Assist in evaluating potential investment opportunities.
3. Capital & Debt Management : Support the forecasting of capital requirements and collaborate with the Treasury team on debt refinancing, capital structuring, and related tax and accounting considerations.
4. Market & Industry Research : Conduct ongoing industry and market research to monitor trends, assess risks, and identify emerging opportunities across relevant asset classes.
5. Transaction Support : Assist in the preparation and review of fund-related documentation, including equity calls, divestments, capital reductions, distributions, and share statements.
6. Investor Relations : Provide accurate and timely data for investor reporting and communications. Support responses to investor queries and information requests.
7. Asset Performance Review : Perform quantitative analyses of asset performance, including lease renewals, asset enhancement initiatives, sustainability efforts, valuations, and budgeting.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Real Estate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Investment Analyst (or similar), with at least 2 years with a particular focus on real estate financial modelling and investment analysis.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, including strong command of financial formulas and modelling techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional analytical thinking, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong commercial acumen, high attention to detail, and a proactive, business-oriented mindset.

Position is permanent with a hybrid work arrangement.

Master Data & Trade Investment Analyst

Selangor Malaysia

Position Summary

The Master Data and Trade Investment Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, integrity and efficient management of business-critical data, while also supporting trade investment planning and analysis. This dual-role function is responsible for maintaining master data (customer and pricing) in SAP and providing insights into trade investment effectiveness to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

Master Data Management

• Create, update and maintain master data (customer & pricing) in SAP and other systems (ESP, High Radius, E-Condition2).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency across system and other application or reporting tools.
• Act as key liaison for master data issues and improvements.

Trade Investment Analysis

• Monitor and maintain the renewal / expiry of the trade investment or rebate agreement.
• Monitor and manage trade Investment approvals and approval matrix and provide a monthly reconciliation to Finance Team and quarterly report to international reporting
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency across system and other application or reporting tools.
• Involve in Trade Investment review meetings by preparing the information needed prior to the meetings.

Others

• Prepare quarterly review documentation for SOX compliance on customer, pricing and trade investment master data.
• Assist and provide the documentation to internal and external auditors.

What we are looking for

Required Skills and Experience

• Accounting or Finance diploma/degree, or ACCA/CPA/CIMA partly qualified or related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in Master Data, Sales Finance or Commercial Analytics roles within FMCG.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate in English (speaking and writing).

Master Data & Trade Investment Analyst Selangor Malaysia Position Summary The Master Data and Trade Investment Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, integrity and efficient management of business-critical data, while also supporting trade investment planning and analysis. This dual-role function is responsible for maintaining master data (customer and pricing) in SAP and providing insights into trade investment effectiveness to support business decisions. Responsibilities Master Data Management Create, update and maintain master data (customer & pricing) in SAP and other systems (ESP, High Radius, E-Condition2). Ensure data accuracy, consistency across system and other application or reporting tools. Act as key liaison for master data issues and improvements. Trade Investment Analysis Monitor and maintain the renewal / expiry of the trade investment or rebate agreement. Monitor and manage trade Investment approvals and approval matrix and provide a monthly reconciliation to Finance Team and quarterly report to international reporting Ensure data accuracy, consistency across system and other application or reporting tools. Involve in Trade Investment review meetings by preparing the information needed prior to the meetings. Others Prepare quarterly review documentation for SOX compliance on customer, pricing and trade investment master data. Assist and provide the documentation to internal and external auditors. What we are looking for Required Skills and Experience Accounting or Finance diploma/degree, or ACCA/CPA/CIMA partly qualified or related field. Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in Master Data, Sales Finance or Commercial Analytics roles within FMCG. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate in English (speaking and writing). Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
