We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Investment Operations Executive
to support our investment and finance teams in managing the end-to-end investment operations, portfolio monitoring, reporting, and compliance. This role bridges the gap between investment execution and back-office operations, ensuring that all processes are smooth, timely, and audit-ready. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support the execution of investment deals (e.g., documentation flow, legal closing, disbursements). Maintain and update investment records, cap tables, and transaction documentation. Manage data rooms and secure document storage for due diligence and compliance purposes. Liaise with legal, tax, and other external advisors during investment transactions. Collect, consolidate, and analyze portfolio company financials, KPIs, and operational metrics. Assist in preparing quarterly reports, LP updates, and performance dashboards. Monitor investment compliance terms (e.g., covenants, milestones, board seat obligations). Investment Operations

Support fund accounting processes including capital calls, distributions, and NAV reporting. Liaise with fund administrators, auditors, and other service providers. Ensure timely and accurate data entry in fund management systems. Compliance & Governance
Support internal compliance processes such as KYC/AML, risk assessments, and internal audits. Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory reporting (e.g., SC Malaysia/BNM requirements). Maintain internal SOPs, workflows, and audit trails. Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment operations, finance, fund administration, or audit. Experience in VC/PE, fund management, or financial services is preferred. Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of investment processes and fund structures (VC/PE). High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What We Offer:

Role focused on day-to-day trade and Clearwater operations support for Local Business Units, managing the full trade lifecycle and ensuring accurate processing and reporting. Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day trade and Clearwater operations support to Local BUs. Execute the trade lifecycle from front to back, including trade instructions, trade matching, settlement, corporate actions, cash & position management, collateral management, and reconciliation. Perform investment portfolio reconciliations among custodians, fund managers, and Bloomberg; perform reconciliations of position, cash and suspense in Clearwater. Assist in ensuring timely and accurate daily investment transactions and security pricing into Clearwater. Escalate breaks as required and liaise with custodians to ensure all investment transactions are recorded on time. Perform day-to-day trade settlement and pre/post-trade support for business units; provide trade support to the investment front office when necessary. Resolve problems through detailed analysis and recommendations to management. Execute cash and currency operations for clients, ensuring timely funding activities. Ensure procedures and controls are followed and maintain data integrity for alternative asset transaction entry. Process derivative trade confirmations by verifying details with the front office and coordinating with counterparties. Process calculation, issuance, agreement, and settlement of collaterals for margin calls from and to counterparties. Assist collateral management processes, including monitoring and reconciling cash balances in custody accounts, monthly interest accruals and settlements. Support projects and the integration of new asset managers; participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when required. Liaise with internal or external parties to ensure timely recording of investment transactions; perform ad-hoc duties as assigned. Qualifications / Experience
University degree in Accounting/Business/Finance or related fields. 2-4 years of experience in middle office operations, collateral support, trade processing, and reconciliations. Knowledge & Technical Skills
General knowledge of financial products (equities, fixed income, collateral); knowledge of Private Equity and Alternative Credit is an asset. Knowledge of trade lifecycle is an asset. Knowledge of Bloomberg AIM or other trade order systems is an advantage; Investment Accounting Systems (Clearwater) is an asset. Competencies
