**Summary**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Specialist to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity of our site operations, bridging the gap between site-level activities and corporate financial requirements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive partner who can navigate the complexities of a multi-national corporation, manage capital expenditure with precision, and drive financial compliance across internal controls and tax reporting.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Financial Reporting & Balance Sheet Integrity:** Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Conduct rigorous balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses to maintain total data transparency.
+ **Capex Management:** Oversee the capital expenditure lifecycle-from budget planning and ROI analysis to tracking, asset verification, and reporting. Ensure all Capex projects align with corporate governance and site operational requirements.
+ **Internal Audit & Compliance:** Serve as a key contact for internal and external audits. Drive adherence to SOX/Internal Control requirements and actively improve processes to strengthen the internal control environment.
+ **Tax Management:** Manage local tax compliance, including tax filings, deferred tax calculations, and coordination with tax agents. Provide operational support for tax incentive reporting (e.g., MIDA requirements where applicable).
+ **Business Partnering & Communication:** Act as a strategic advisor to operations and cross-functional teams. Translate financial data into actionable insights and influence decision-making through clear, professional communication.
+ **Systems & Process Improvement:** Leverage SAP and other ERP systems to automate accounting processes, simplify workflows, and improve data accuracy.
**What We Are Looking For (The "Must-Haves"):**
+ **Experience:** 5+ years of relevant finance experience, with a mandatory background in manufacturing environments and familiarity with Multi-National Corporation (MNC) cultures.
+ **Technical Financial Expertise:** Solid, hands-on experience in Balance Sheet reviews, Internal Audit/Control, and Tax management.
+ **Capex Proficiency:** Demonstrated experience in managing the full Capex lifecycle, including rigorous ROI analysis.
+ **Systems Proficiency:** Proficiency in SAP is essential. Experience with other ERP systems, BI tools (e.g., Power BI), and Advanced Excel is highly valued.
+ **Soft Skills:** Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
+ **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are strongly preferred.
