- Create storyboards, scripts, and interactive content using tools like Articulate Storyline 360 or Adobe Captivate.
- Needs Assessment:
- Conduct needs analysis to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
- Collaborate with SMEs to define learning objectives aligned with business goals.
- Instructional Design:
- Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE or Agile) to create effective learning experiences.
- Incorporate adult learning principles and innovative methodologies into training programs.
- Technology Integration:
- Implement and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) for course delivery and tracking.
- Develop multimedia content such as videos, simulations, role-plays, and gamified learning activities.
- Evaluation and Feedback:
- Design assessment tools to measure learner progress and training effectiveness.

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging learning experiences to enhance employee performance and skill development at Klook. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create training programs that align with business goals, improve customer service outcomes, and foster employee growth. Key Responsibilities and Duties
Curriculum Development:
Design and develop training materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual ILT, and blended learning solutions. Create storyboards, scripts, and interactive content using tools like Articulate Storyline 360 or Adobe Captivate.
Needs Assessment:
Conduct needs analysis to identify skill gaps and training requirements. Collaborate with SMEs to define learning objectives aligned with business goals.
Instructional Design:
Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE or Agile) to create effective learning experiences. Incorporate adult learning principles and innovative methodologies into training programs.
Technology Integration:
Implement and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) for course delivery and tracking. Develop multimedia content such as videos, simulations, role-plays, and gamified learning activities.
Evaluation and Feedback:
Design assessment tools to measure learner progress and training effectiveness. Continuously update training materials based on feedback and performance metrics.
Collaboration:
Work closely with team members, SMEs, trainers, and leadership to ensure seamless program delivery. Provide coaching or guidance to trainers for effective facilitation of learning programs.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field is a plus Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development, preferably in a contact center or corporate L&D environment. Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in instructional design tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar authoring tools. Strong knowledge of LMS platforms and SCORM-compliant content. Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE). Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English. (Mandarin is a plus) Strong project management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop innovative learning solutions.
