Brief Description of Duties:
- Perform detailed in-service inspections of pressure vessels, piping systems, storage tanks and other industrial equipment.
- Perform inspections of industrial products at vendors.
- Assess equipment condition and identify potential integrity risks
- Document inspection findings with comprehensive technical reports
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field
- Candidate must posses valid certification in CSWIP 3.1, API 510 & API 570. Having other certifications such as CSWIP BGAS/NACE, API 653, API 936, API 581, CSWIP RI and ASNT will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in NDT techniques
- Strong knowledge of ASME BPVC, API Standards and Safety Regulations
- Advanced understanding of material degradation mechanisms
- Knowledge in risk-based inspection methodologies
- Proficient with inspection software and reporting tools
- Ability to work in industrial environments (Onshore & Offshore)
- Comfortable with field work and site inspections

- Perform inspections of plant equipment and piping during on-stream and shutdowns using various non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as radiography, ultrasonic, and magnetic testing.
- Assess and review vendor and technical reports related to mechanical engineering design calculations in compliance with Codes and Standards.
- Investigate equipment failures, analyze issues, and provide recommendations for repairs and corrective actions.
- Supervise contract inspection technicians, contractors, and NDT teams during routine operations and Turnaround/Shutdown activities.
- Coordinate with the Department of Safety and Health (DOSH) for regular inspections and maintain the Certificate of Fitness (CoF) database.
- Develop, implement, and maintain equipment strategies for fixed equipment as per POIMS/RBI requirements.
- Lead QA/QC activities during Turnaround/Shutdown, including worklist development, inspection findings, and closure monitoring.
- Maintain and update inspection files, equipment strategies, and plant history records.
- Provide expertise in material selection, corrosion monitoring, welding procedures, and repair techniques.
- Stay updated on new technology and techniques in materials, corrosion, and non-destructive testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
- Strong knowledge of Codes and Standards, materials selection, and NDT techniques.
- Experience in equipment inspection, corrosion monitoring, and failure analysis.
- Ability to supervise contractors and lead inspection activities during Turnaround/Shutdown.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

The Automatic Inspection Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing automated inspection processes to ensure the highest quality of semiconductor products. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including design, process engineering, and quality assurance, to identify and resolve defects and improve overall manufacturing efficiency. Additionally, the Automatic Inspection Process Engineer will leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques to enhance inspection accuracy and process automation.
Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Automatic Inspection System Setup and Maintenance:
- Install, configure, and maintain Automatic Inspection Equipment and software.
- Develop and optimize Automatic Inspection programs for various semiconductor products.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of Automatic Inspection systems to ensure consistent performance.
Inspection and Quality Control:
- Conduct automated inspections on semiconductor wafers, dies, and packages.
- Analyse inspection data to identify defects and determine root causes.
- Collaborate with process engineers to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyse inspection data to monitor product quality and process performance.
- Generate detailed inspection reports and present findings to management and engineering teams.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) methods to track and improve quality metrics
Process Improvement:
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements to reduce defect rates and enhance product quality.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on Automatic inspection system performance and capabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest Automatic Inspection technologies and industry best practices.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning:
- Develop and implement AI/ML models to improve defect detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
- Integrate AI/ML algorithms to automate inspection processes and enhance decision-making.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to design and deploy AI-driven solutions.
- Continuously monitor and refine AI/ML models based on inspection data and feedback.
Training and Documentation:
