Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to design and build cloud-based infrastructures and landing zones
- Assist with the creation of Infrastructure architectures and technical documentation
- Design and implement:
- Secure cloud foundational cloud implementations
- Automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications
- Cloud-ready applications architecture - Deliver end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutions
- Present Infrastructure modernization strategy to C-level executives
- Improvements to monitoring, logging, and observability in Client environments
- Defining and implementing cloud infrastructure governance and building deployment standards;
- Working cross-functionally with our delivery management team.
- Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development;
- Experience with virtualization: servers, storage, networks;
- Google Cloud Platform certification, along with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience using its suite of tools, is required;
- Experience with infrastructure-based processes such as monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and data centre exit;

Job Description
As a Cloud & Digital Workplace Analyst, you will provide first-line support for virtual servers and Microsoft Azure environments. You will be responsible for performing daily operational tasks, monitoring systems, handling basic service requests, and performing routine changes across both cloud and on-prem infrastructure. This includes basic support for VMware virtualization platforms, backup jobs, and networking components. You will escalate complex issues as needed while gaining hands-on experience across hybrid IT environments. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT infrastructure career looking to develop practical skills in cloud and infrastructure operations.
The Person
You are proactive, customer-focused, and eager to learn. You possess a strong foundational understanding of server and Azure Technology and are comfortable following standard operating procedures. You work well in a team environment and are committed to providing timely support and accurate documentation.
Accountabilities
Primarily related to on-prem server support, routine user/system operations, and hybrid infrastructure:
- Monitor server environment health using tools like LogicMonitor.
- Log and triage incidents and service requests.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of server issues (e.g., CPU usage, Memory usage, Disk space, VM availability, backup status).
- Handle common service requests (e.g., password resets, access requests).
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Level 2 or Level 3 teams.
- Support patching for Windows OS and backup (Commvault, Veeam, Avamar) verification tasks under guidance.
- Follow change management processes for standard changes/emergency changes.
- Maintain accurate ticket documentation and update knowledge base where needed.
- Assist with daily reporting and shift handovers.
2. Public Cloud
Focused on Azure-specific monitoring, troubleshooting, and governance tasks:
- Monitor Azure environment health using tools like Azure Monitor.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of Azure issues (e.g., CPU usage, VM availability, backup status).
- Support patching and backup verification tasks under guidance.
- Follow change management processes for standard changes/emergency changes.
- Maintain accurate ticket documentation and update knowledge base where needed.
- Assist with daily reporting and shift handovers.
Your Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Azure portal, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems.
- Understanding of patching, backups (Commvault, Veeam, Avamar), and system monitoring.
- Willingness to learn scripting and automation (PowerShell/Azure CLI).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, AZ-900, AZ-104, ITIL Foundation, VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Endpoint Administrator (MD-102), Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals (MS-900)) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Network Administration
- Design, implement and manage network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and ensure security compliance
- Maintain and implement cross/multi cloud networking
- Implement network segmentation and access control to improve security
- Implement and maintain monitoring systems to proactively identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues.
Cloud Infrastructure Management, Capacity Planning and Monitoring
- Maintain and optimize cloud-based infrastructure
- Deploy, configure, and manage Linux and Windows servers using automation tools
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance, security, scalability
- Assess system capacity and performance requirement, implement scalable solutions that meet future growth needs
Cloud FinOps
- Monitor and analyze cloud spending across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud)
- Work with finance teams to ensure accurate cloud budgeting, forecasting, and chargeback models
- Optimize storage, networking, and computing costs without impacting performance
- Leverage FinOps tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Alibaba Cloud Cost Center, etc.)
Security and Compliance
- Collaborate with DevOps and Security team to manage and optimize infrastructure resources and ensure application of industry standard security
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement secure infrastructure architectures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data
- Ensuring compliance with security, audits and regulatory requirements
Incident Response and Troubleshooting
- Collaborate with different functional teams to address incidents and restore services quickly. Investigate and resolve incidents, apply root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network or related field
- Proven 3 experience in a Cloud Network or Cloud Infrastructure role
- Strong experience in site reliability engineering, infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture or a similar role.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is a plus.
